This morning, after his little bowl of cereal, I gave John Anthony a little jar of Gerber Prunes. WELL, as soon as daddy saw what he was eating, he goes to me 'Prunes?? Get ready for an explosion!'
Well, just a little while ago, it happened !
He was wearing cute little white shorts and a cute white t-shirt, which made it OH SO EASY to 'spot' - pun intended . I put him down on the floor to let him cruise around, and his entire back & tushie (clothes included) were POOP-i-fied !!
Boy that little blue tub has been our best friend lately !!!!!!
maybe you should just keep him in the tub today again...no prunes for my baby......Claud- please remind me of this post in a few months or come over to help
Actually it really didnt phase him, it was just like a regular poop for him 'Thats ma boy'
Yep apple juice works like a charm too! My niece 'didnt go' for quite a few days when she was an infant. some apple juice and water in her bottle. and HOLY EXPLOSION !!!!!!!!
Oh no! Poor John Anthony....or should I say Poor Anna instead LOL - Yuck
You get to know your child's cycle. For the Moms-to-be, be prepared to be very obsessed with your child's poops - especially in the beginning. It's very normal, although when you hear the conversations you & DH will have about it, you will realize that you really crossed the line into parenthood

Lukie is pretty regular, 2x a day, my boy is a good pooper. I vary his cereals - he has them all - oatmeal, rice, barley, mixed. Oatmeal will make them poop more. Rice, less. I was giving him alot of Prunes or plums in the beginning - or a added a little (very little!!) prune juice to his cereal mainly because of the formula he was on. I hardly give them now because I dont want Anna's aforementioned explosion. I vary the fruit too - Bananas are binding as are apples. My pediatrician said the 'P' foods will help baby poop - Prunes, peaches, pears, plums....
