Puerto Vallarta or Nassau bahamas

HELP! I'm posting here as well as BHB hoping some one can give me some advice/ideas...

I really need suggestions.
I think we want to change our HM location. We think that Costa Rica might not offer all we are looking for. After researching, it seems like both Nassau and Puerto Vallarta ( or somewhere near there) may be the same price and offer better beaches and more to do.

PLEASE if you have been there..can you give me some advice and tell me where you stayed.

Hi I am new so please bare with me, Im not that great with computers, I have been to both, puerto vallarta the beaches arent that great if you like going into the ocean- they are very rocky it was not fun for me hurt to step down and when we went snorkeling jelly fish were biting us really bad its on the pacific ocean, it is lots of rocks and mountains over there. it is nice inland though but I am a beach person
Nassau bahamas ooooooooooo very nice carribean water warm oh yea pacific kinda cold, clear blue in the carribean snorkeling great, we stayed at the atlantis but it was too expensive wouldnt do it again i would stay at the near by hotels just as good. but i think it depends what you are looking for to do too. puerta vallarta has more nature like costa rica but the beaches yuck. we did lots of shopping in nassau and water excursions it was fun. hope this helps.

oh there are 2 spots of puerta vallarta i forgot- near the airport the hotel zone- looked like cancun and then in the city lots of shops and restaurants that was cool but we stayed up in the mountain and walked down to the beach from the resort.
