Make sure about the pyrotechnics. It's alot bigger than candles. Fire codes and such need to be worked out. It will be very impressive though to see!

Re: Pyrotechnics
I had a private party at Capitale 2 years ago. I did my FH's 30th Bday party there. The day before our party, P Diddy had a party there for 2 thousand people, with pyrotechnics and acrobats and dancers swinging on top (in the ballroom). I would ask Capitale, they know a lot of people in that business.....they will recommend someone....or ask for P didy's phone number...lol...he throws amazing parties....he will let you know...

it's just 'Diddy' now! I wish I could get in touch with him and talk to his people :) How did your party for FH go at Capitale? Were you pleased?
Thanks for the suggestion - Capitale prob knows better than anyone what type of entertainment works best there

Re: Pyrotechnics
The party was great!!!! The food was amazing!!! The filet mignon and the sea bass was out of this world....People talked about the party for months (it costed me a fortune)....but the things we do love....We actually wanted our wedding there too but we decided we wanted an outdoor area for the cocktail hour....The ballroom is beautiful!!! You will have a great wedding, no need to worry...

Re: Pyrotechnics
thanks for all the feedback - I contacted my DJ and I also spoke with my contact at Capitale who gave me the name of someone that works on-site that specializes in all this crazy pyrotechnic stuff....I think I am especially interested in the gobo, hopefully it won't break the bank!

Alicia, I'm getting a gobo done through my DJ, and he's charging a very reasonable amount (ie: less than $100) - so it's not that expensive!

oh, good :) thank god! I got an fm from someone that said I could get fireworks for like $15,000...somehow that doesn't fit into the budget, so I'm glad to hear about the gobo :)
