I regret that I have been terrible (TERRIBLE) on my diet since I rejoined WW 3 weeks ago. What a waste of $$ and time!

mine would be not going away to school. I loved St. Joes, but always secretly wished I went away. I was accepted to Cortland, but turned it down b/c my ex didn't want me to go... oh the things we do when we are young and stupid!

I went to St. Joe's too! And I was accepted to Cortland....weeeeirrd.

My biggest regret is allowing certain friendships to be ruined over pettiness.

what was your major?

English. Yours?

LOL, English/Secondary Ed (although you'd never know from the way I type on here)

I was there from 2001 - 2004. I walked in May 2005 since I finished in December of 2004

Lol, we prob had classes together bc I was there from 2001-04 as well and I also walked in May. Didn't it suck to have to wait until May! lol.

WOW, this is crazy.

I loved Ricciardi... I miss him!

Jennings was the worst and my advanced survey professor was fired in the middle of the semester for coming to teach drunk. any of this ring a bell?

Ahhh! I loved Ricciardi!! He was so great. Jennings was really tough and a bit out there but I did learn alot in her classes (although who the F needs to know how to read Chaucer in Old English? ) And I def know what teacher you are talking about who was drunk and fired! She had blonde hair right? She came into our mid-term with a cut on her forehead bleeding. Caaarraaazy!

We HAD to be in that same class together with the blonde haired teacher. She showed up to our afternoon midterm bleeding and WASTED. i also learned a lot from jennings... but I never want to hear Beowulf ever again. then the next time we met, another teacher came in... she was a full timer, i can't remember her name, but i wrote my thesis with her. I think it started with a P

oh, also, my degree...
My major is how I met DH and it's a HUGE part of my life and i had a blast earning it...
but explain to me what i'm supposed to do with an acting degree??

I was double majoring in Psychology, so i will go back and get my BA in psych and hopefully proceed to get my masters and doctorate or whatever you do with a psych degree... but that's all on hold until we have more $$$

yeah, you can't do a hell of a lot more with a double major in Literature and Art History either.

Re: Q of the D: Part II

I regret not being smart enough to see that the relationships I was in for years and years were just a bunch of Bullsh*t and how badly I was treated. Not that I was treated badly like spoken to badly or harmed in anyway, but just the fact that I was ALWAYS the one chasing after them, I always wasted my money on them, I always traveled to see them, went above and beyond for everyone (its just my nature) and i got ZERO in return
I dated someone who was in the military, he went overseas for a year. I was so dedicated to him and our relationship. He wasnt and i found that out towards the end and like a MORON I still gave him another chance..TWICE...what a waste of 3 yrs my god
But its strange b/c even though he did bad things behind my back and continuing to be the way he was..i still remained friends with him til this day

so weird

I could have wrote this myself!!!
I'm still paying off old cards. I wish someone would have told me that my lil part time jobs in HS and college were not enough to pay off thousands in credit!

Re: Q of the D: Part II

I could go on forever with this one . . .

... being involved with most of my ex's and being treated the way I was. Especially when it came to putting effort into the relationship and the other person did nothing.

... not going away to school. I didn't make many friends at St. John's. In fact, I only speak to one person I met from there now and he and I were involved for over 5 years. I got into a bunch of really good schools but I chose St. John's because they gave me a huge academic scholarship.

... starting work right after graduation and not just finishing grad school. I missed out on so much by 'becoming an adult' so quickly. I would be in bed at 10PM while my friends were just leaving for the bar.

... gaining all this weight. I used to be super skinny. Now I'm a blob.

And, now I'm depressed.

I do not regret anything, all my past mistakes made me the person I am today, I am a very strong independent women because of all my past mistakes. but if I had to choose one thing, it would have been listening to my parents when I was younger, instead of rebelling against them, I was blessed with wonderful parents and god knows I put them through hell for a few years and they did not deserve any of it. and all the apologies in the world did not take away from the heart ache I caused. but they are very forgiving, compassionate people, and I sometimes wonder if they know how much I love them, I make sure I tell them daily, and I try to show it, I just hope to god it is enough.

It's ok! I was there in the fall of 2001 (Freshman year). I lived on campus, but I was never there. I hated my room mates so much! I was in a triple and I was 'sexiled' from the room almost every night by one of them. So, I hopped a train and spent the night with friends at NYU and Pace. It worked out well since none of my classes started until after 11AM.

Oh yeaaaaaa, Phagan. Now I remember.

I don't remember him... but if it was in Jennings class, that is because I was too busy taking *11* pages of notes I went into the final with an A and got a C- in the class.... she scared me.
