There's an article in the Wall Street Journal today about single women freezing their eggs so they can have the option of getting pregnant later on. Would you do that given the circumstances?
If I was faced with some sort of illness - or if FH was - where I knew that getting pregnant later would be an issue, I would do this.

This is a great question!!
If I were a single, career oriented woman who even fancied the thought about having kids in the future (with or without a husband) I absolutely would freeze my eggs. Unfortunately, our bodies only give us a certain window for healthy and 'safe' pregnancies. What if at 44 i decided to have a baby but hit menopause, what if at 39 I get married and want to wait 2-3 years before a baby... my biological clock has to force me to get pregnant right away? that isn't fair.

without reading the article, i would freeze my eggs.
it's so tempting to do this now - I'm 30 which isn't too old but we want to wait until school is done and we get a house to have kids... which will be like 3 years.

Don't think 33 is too old to start having kids, I know plenty of women that have kids around that age!

I will be on the edge of 38 when I marry Paul. We both know that my body isn't the prime age for giving birth. Kids are a big deal. One of the things that would have been a deal breaker is if Paul couldn't live without having a child. I love kids, but I also have to consider so many other things.
So many women are having healthy children later in life. I feel confident that it is possible.
I also feel secure in my relationship with my FH and know that having a child or not having a child isn't going to crumble our foundation of love.

Re: Q of the day
It's not something I ever thought about doing, but if I was single and very focused on my career, I would probably freeze them so at some point further down the line I might have the chance of having my own child.

I didn't say that having a healthy baby later in life was impossible, I just simply stated that society makes it seem like once a woman hits her 30's she HAS to start thinking about babies and the longer she waits, the smaller her chances get of A. getting pregnant easily or B. having a healthy baby . If at 33 I had another 5 or 6 years worth of professional schooling to go through or i was just starting out in my career, I might think about freezing my eggs. I don't want to turn around one day and it be 'too late'. KWIM?

Re: Q of the day
I would absolutely freeze my eggs in a situation like Danielle described. If I was a single woman who wasnt planning on getting married anytime soon and I was already in my 30's I might take that option. Plus what happens if I couldn't carry a baby or was unable to conceive I would maybe ask for a seregate mother but using my own egg!
IDK I don't think there is anything wrong with freezing an egg.

I wouldn't but I don't think there is anything wrong if you do. Personally, if i decide to have kids someday and can't... i would be more than happy to adopt.
