Would you want your FH 'glued' to you during the reception?
Would it bother you if he was stole away for to hang out with his boys? and vice versa

he doesn't have to be with me all night long, but i want to be able to see him wherever he is just in case i need to steal him.

I would like FH and I to be together for most of the night....at our engagement party, we were so overwhelmed with all the guests that we got lost a few times, And i will have to moniter his ciggarette breaks bc as he gets drunker they get more frequent

Since he doesn’t have any “boys,” we will probably be side by side the entire night. Which is more than okay with me

No matter what I do, he will be outside smoking the ENTIRE time. I'm actually worried about photos. There will only be like two of us together - one when we walk in and dance together and the other when we cut the cake. Other than that, I'm sure I won't see him the entire day... just like when we attend other people's weddings. He will, no doubt, be with the guys the whole time.

I do not want him 'glued' to me, but i would like to be with him as much as possible, but still be able to both do our thing....
I am corny, but I want to have my moment where i see him across the room and realize, 'OMG he is my husbad' and we lock eyes.... kinda like a scene in a movie
ETA: Not to mention our families will be banging on the plates so many times we will have to be together to always give eachother kisses

I can't imagine we'll be glued together. I have mentioned that I don't want us to be too far apart for most of the day. He'll want his time with friends and I'll want mine, especially since he doesn't dance...i guess that will be 'my' time! lol...hopefully we're together most of the day

I understand he probably wants to spend time with his friends so no I don't mind BUT I also don't want to spend the whole time looking for him

We've discussed it. I was married once before with a big reception and was left alone for most of it while my new husband hung with his friends. To be honest, it bothered me a lot that day.
We see our friends all the time. For me, that day is about us starting our life together. I would hope the majority of the evening we are enjoying our reception together.

I dont care if he hangs with his friends but not allllll night, he is not marrying his friends, lolol. I know Im going to be running around here and there also but I dont want to be separated for a long time
Same for me. I am worried he is going to be outside smoking a lot .... I need to talk to him about this. I want him to dance with me A LOT (something he hates to do) and to be near me to talk to folks.

FH and I have talked about this a lot. We were at a wedding 1 1/2 years ago, and the bride and groom were NEVER together--only for their first dance and for the cake cutting. FH and I thought this was really weird. We want to spend time together on our wedding day, understanding that we're hosting a lot of people and will spend time w/ our guests too, but we are putting ourselves as top priority when it comes to our wedding day.

I dont mind if he goes and hangs with some friends hes brother and father both live out of state so i expect him to spend time with them the one thing i ask is taht he doesnt get drunk! he likes to drink and i dont want him being in oblivion on our day!

Nothing yet only b/c FH and I havent been able to have a moment to go!! I was told the people I would have to see are only there until 6pm during the week (i dont even get out of work until then) and only saturday during the morning/afternoon. FH works so i told him that I'm going to have to find the time to go myself! But it will be done within the next week or two :)

At our eparty we were NEVER together b/c we were both working the room! We need SOME time together, but I dont expect us to be straight-jacketed to eachother.

I Def. don't want him glued to me ALLLLLLLLL night ! Its going to be a long day . As long as he doesn't decide to hang out with his boys during the ceremony then I am fine.

i probably will lose him on the dance floor anyway so I won't be too upset j/k he could hang with his friends as long as it is not for the whole night
