Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue! This wedding tradition is supposed to bring the bride good luck. Are you incorporating these items into your wedding, if so, how?
I don't know exactly how I'm incorporating the something old, something new or something borrowed quite yet, but the something blue (which is supposed to symbolize our fidelity to each other) will be my shoes. Since my colors are royal blue and purple and my BM's are wearing royal blue dresses, I'm wearing royal blue shoes.

Not sure about anything other than my something blue. I'll be getting the date sewn into my dress where it cannot be seen. Obviously it will be blue! My dress will be my new. Maybe borrowed jewelry?

Something old: my great grandmother's beaded clutch Something new: my shoes :) Something borrowed: my mother's diamond earrings Something blue: my mother bought me a blue tiffany's notebook that says 'something blue' that I will be using to put our wedding day planning and timeline in and I will keep it with me for the day :)

Something old: wearing both of my grandmothers' wedding bands during the ceremony Something new: my dress! Also apparently my 91 year old grandmother buys each girl a garter when they get married and is finding someone to take her to get me one lol Something borrowed: I'll probably borrow a piece of jewelry from my mom Something blue: haven't figured this one our yet, but maybe my undies!! Lol

Something Old: I'm having a heart sewn in the back of my dress (visible) that is from my great aunts old sweater! She passed in 2008 and was like another parent to me! I can't believe I'm getting married and she isn't going to be there to celebrate! Something New:The dress Something Borrowed: I'd like to borrow pennies from the year we met, the year we got engaged and the year we got married. OR our birth years! Something Blue: Ny Rangers garter

Something old: My grandpa's cufflinks (I will probably incorporate them somehow into my bouquet)
Something new: Dress, shoes
Something borrowed: I might borrow my cousin's jewelry from her wedding, I haven't decided
Not sure if I'll be doing this yet. If I get something from each 'category,' then great. But I don't know if I'll go nuts trying. Is anybody else not doing this?
My mom said she already has everything planned. I have no say in it... apparently. -_-

Something Old: Hmm.. Does my engagement ring count as something old?
Something New: My dress will be new
Something Borrowed: I may borrow my moms diamond tennis bracelet which my sister also wore on her wedding day and I might borrow FH's mom's headpiece..
Something Blue: I am debating getting my date sewn in my dress in blue but I do have the trim of my weddings Uggs are blue!

I'm always a little confused on something borrowed and something old.. Because I feel like something borrowed is usually something old also! Haha! Dress will be new Not sure about blue yet I know I will be wearing my great grandmas engagement ring, which will be both borrowed and old.. So I'm not sure which that qualifies as and which category I still need to fill!
