*QOTD 1/16/14*

Good morning!

I have plans this weekend to go dress shopping so todays question is going to be about dresses!

If you could have anyone design your dream wedding dress who would it be? And Why?

I always seem to love Lazaro dresses so I think I would have a custom Lazaro dress :)

Feel free to add in any other dress topics too!!

*QOTD 1/16/14* - Long Island Weddings

I bought my gown on Sunday and it was by Kenneth Pool so I am going to go with Kenneth pool!!! i LOVE tulle...and he does a great job at it =)

I also like Lazaro and Austin Scarlett =)

idk know much about designer gowns so I can't say I have a favorite. I want color in my dress... so right now if all goes well when I go dress shopping I'll only have to try on one! if that doesn't look good or I dont like it im sscrewed lol

it's by Alfred Angelo I'll c if I can post a pic..... doubt it though!!

as of right now I'm holding off on dress shopping, im not ready. dont feel bad for me when I say this ..... I'm ok......but my grandma passed 10 days after our engagement. she was so excited and couldn't wait to. take me dress shopping! I knew sge wasn't healthy, I said for a year and a half that I should just take her now even though I'm not engaged! that's a huge regret of mine! that and I'm just not ready to be there without her! this may sound crazy to some of you, but im going to b this group reading medium event on feb 10th I'm hoping my grandma comes through! I need to hear she is with me abd Will be there that day! I know she will but I need to hear it!! you know!

Sorry about your Grandma, but I'm sure she will be with you in spirit as you go dress shopping and through all of the other times you would want her there with you...

And although the picture didn't come up I was able to copy and paste the link and the dress is beautiful... Fingers crossed that it fits you just how you want it too.

I really don't know that much about designers either. I bought my dress back in October, with no intentions of buying one that day, I just fell in love and couldn't walk away from it. It's Maggie Sotterro Roslyn.

I'm going bridesmaid dress shopping this weekend, fingers crossed that is as productive as my dress shopping was...

good luck, what kind of dresses you looking to get?
I went in November just to look alittle bc my moh was in from fl abd I wasn't sure if she could make it again. I was surprised they were all on board with lace. my vision is my dress being white with teal ascents and them being in teal with white lace around the waist!

I am with you Lazaro! =) I already found my dream Lazaro dress.... but its definitely more than what I want to spend on my dress. I also love Vera Wang and Monique Lhuillier. If money wasn't an option I would have all 3 haha! I would be one of those brides that has a ceremony dress, reception dress, and then after party dress!! How fun that would be.... a girl can dream! =)

I would either pick monique lhuillier or pnina tornai. Im currently in love with a 2013 dress from monique which i saw on the tv show revenge. i also love say yes to the dress and would kill for one of those pnina's with all the bling.

Aw Rose she is with you! My nana passed over the summer & it's been really hard planning knowing she won't be there. Don't live with regrets. She will be there with you when you pick a dress & when you walk down that aisle in it too. I was not able to open the link to the dress you posted :(

Good luck with your dress shopping! I have a love-hate relationship with dress shopping right now lol.. In terms of designer I go with Monique Lhuillier.. I got a collectible Monique Lhuiller Barbie as a kid and I just love the dress on the doll. If I could I would have that exact dress.

I took fh to one 2 Valentine's ago and she was very good, when I went to a party with her age took us privately one by one and she was not good! I got my fingers crossed with this one!

I'm kind of all over the place in regards to their dresses. I want each dress to be different and possibly different colors but that could all change tomorrow... I'm in the color scheme of blues and silvers though...

I don't know too much about what designers are out there but dress I would love to have but I tried on a Demetrios bridal gown yesterday and I am in Love... and it is totally opposite of everything I envisioned my dress to be... hmmmmm
