Happy Saturday Ladies!!! I didn't get a chance to log on yday and read any responses to the QOTD, but thank you to the ones that responded - I'm going to read them as soon as I get back from Costco.Today's question is...assuming you are wearing a veil - Who will be applying your veil? [\B]
Since I can remember, I've expected to have my bestie of about 17 years apply it, but we got into a HUGE argument last year and needless to say we haven't spoken since. I didn't even attend her wedding. So now I'm debating on having my other bestie apply it or my mom. I applied the veil on my Matron of Honors wedding day and I felt so special and honored. Her mother insisted which made it all the more special. So we shall see.

I don't have a veil, but I do have 2 flowers going in my hair. Originally I though my hairdresser who is also my MOH would do it, but now you have given me something to think about.

Its cathedral length, so I want it put on close to the ceremony time. Think I will bring it with me to my hair appt and have my mom or MOH shown how and where to place it by the hairdresser

I'd seen tv shows and movies where a close friend would apply the veil and thought that was sweet. But I didn't realize it was a thing until my friend's wedding. And whether it was intentional or not, I really felt honored to place the veil on my friend's head. I was already in the limo with the rest of the bridal party when the bride's mother called me back in the house and explained that since I had really been there for her daughter when she needed someone, she wanted me to take pictures putting her veil on. I was so shocked, I was relatively the newbie of friends, but we'd gotten very close since we started working together. It was a beautiful gesture and came out to be a beautiful picture as well.

Angela from Angela's Hair Design did my cathedral veil.....and Laura from AMDA did my blusher. Laura is also the one who helped me into my shoes and Angela put my jewelry on me.....my family and BMs were all in the other room!

I am fairly certain that my hair stylist will fix my veil, mainly because I figure she will be the most expert on getting the thing to stay nice and tight for the whole day. But Im sure I will have some sentimental pics with my mom and sister/moh adjusting it.Welcome New Vendors
