Good Morning Ladies,

Thanks for your responses yesterday. I enjoyed reading your choices. Okay so I am heading out to work in 5 minutes so here is my question. Being that FH and I already own a home together and do not want more children, the only thing I look forward to is changing my last name. While I LOVE my dad and my last name makes me very unique I am ready for a change. What is the one or two things you look forward to after saying 'I Do?'

If you have to go out, use public transportation if possible and stay safe.

Looking forward to living together again. We lived together for 2 yrs and then he moved back to his home country. I am moving right after the wedding. I have my visa and I'm all set. So that and having kids!

Student loan debt will keep us from buying a house in the near future so I look forward to having kids and changing my name. My dad isnt psyched about my sister (getting married in 10/14) changing our names since we there is only the two of us.

FH and I already own a home together so I'm most looking forward to changing my last name (no one can ever pronounce it right so I'll finally have a normal last name) and eventually having babies

I look forward to moving into our home! We bought it a few months ago and waiting to close because of a CO issue on the kitchen that had to be passed.. we should be closing by the end of next month, and will be doing some work to the house until the wedding. We both decided to live at our homes until the wedding because we knew that it would make our parents happy- they would never tell us we CANT move in, we just thought it was the right thing to do. We will use the next couple of months to save a little more on groceries and other expenses while we pay off the mortgage.

I LOVEEE decorating though and creating the wedding registry was literally one of the most fun parts of the wedding planning so far because I was able to register for bedding and bathroom things based on my color scheme I am envisioning haha... I just can't wait to move in and start decorating and painting this new home to our liking!

We own our home and don't want to have any more kids also! I'm SO torn about the name change thing. I love my last name. My dad gave me my first name because it went so well with our last name, and it does. It's been my name for 33 years! It's going to be hard to let it go. (It was also really hard to admit that I'm almost 33.)
But, I also want to have the same last name as my daughter. Although everyone at school/cheerleading/dance/etc etc etc calls me Mrs. ___ anyway. lol.

I am excited to be a Mr. and Mrs. and I am excited to start a family together!! I am also excited to put money away for other reasons than the wedding! Like decorating our house, going on vacations etc!

Im excited about hyphenating my last name (kinda attached to my current last name....can't throw it away entirely) and scared but excited about babies, as well. Sometimes, the thought makes me so nervous I get nauseous...but it also makes me smile like crazy too, when I think about FH being daddy. Can I also just say, I am the manager of our apt, and am in charge of paying all the bills (which we split 50/50). FH never gives me a problem when I tell him how much to give me that month for the monthly expenses, groceries, utilities, etc....but I will be so happy when we meld our bank accounts next month! Its getting so tiring asking him for money. I just want everything to be 'ours.' So much easier for the house manager :)

I'm excited to start our family and buy a home. We're both in our 30's - so we need to get a move on. I dunno how we're going to afford a home on LI but one step at a time right?? Lol
