nervous of having an IBS flare up because that is just horrific. I'm also nervous about paying for it and not having enough money for a condo!

Nope! I'm totally worried about this too! I had it for my prom and when I was a bridesmaid in my FH sister's wedding so I have really bad luck with special events!

I am worried about a bunch of things lol. I am such a worrier. I worry about people not showing up, no one dancing, fights, drunken incidents, not having enough money to pay and so on. I guess we all valid fears about our big day, but we just have to think positive!

Re: ***QOTD 1/24****

Katielynn, not petty at all! I'm going through the EXACT same thing with a friend of mine. It got so bad I had to stop using a public Pinterest board because one too many of my ideas showed up on her board.

My biggest fear is people not dancing, too. I think the DJ will be awesome but I'm having a dry affair so I'm worried people may be self-conscious.

So... my biggest fear is this:

I have a friend planning her wedding 3-6 weeks before mine (don't even get me started on that..) and I'm really worried she's going to take my ideas and then its going to look like I copied her.

petty right? I can't help it. She always takes the spot light and is making me feel guilty that I 'took' December (even though I was engaged first) because she always wanted a winter wedding.

This doesn't sound petty at all!!! I am in a very similar situation.

My FH's sister got engaged about 6 weeks before we did, and it was a complete surprise to everyone in the family. She is the biggest flake in the world (that's not an insult, she admits it herself LOL), and was originally going to get married this month, but decided to move it to May of this year. When she finally decided on that (I had already known I wanted to get married in the Spring), she claimed that I was copying her season. (Ridiculous, I know.)

Then, when we were choosing bridesmaid dresses, she had 8 colors picked out, and then decided to nix all of them, and choose grey, which is the color I had said I wanted before I even got engaged. So that was another whole debacle. And don't even get me started on flowers and tuxedos!!

I've had my ideal wedding planned since I was about 12 years old, and although I knew what I wanted a long time ago, I am now being accused of copying all of her ideas. I have just decided, on the advice of my mom, that this just isn't worth letting her get to me about. If your friend is really a good friend, she'll be happy for you and allow you to be happy for her.

My biggest fear is that no one is going to dance!! I'm also terrified of having a severe anxiety attack since I'm prone to them.

This or getting super sick or terrible weather or some of my bridesmaids being so pregnant that they cant make it!!

You just gotta let it all go and do EXACTLY what you want to do, even if she's doing it, too. Doesn't mean it will be done exactly the same. You don't want to look back and have regrets! This is one of the happiest times of your life, enjoy it & make sure it's exactly how you dream it to be!!! There's already enough to be stressed about anyway, lol!
