Good morning, brides to be!

Thanks again cj52514 (date twin! woohoo) for choosing me to be BOTW!

I thought it would be fun to ask both wedding related and non-wedding related questions. I hope you guys enjoy!

What are some of your favorite things to do when you and FH spend time together?

FH and I are big sports fans, so we love going to baseball games during the summer (we're both Mets fans), football games (I'm a Jets fan, he's a Giants fan) and hockey games (I'm an Islanders fan and he's a Rangers fan). We also love going to concerts. We've seen Bon Jovi together three times and we're going again this summer We try to see a broadway show as often as possible. Newsies and Jersey Boys are a few of our favorites. When we go out to eat, we love to check out restaurants that have been featured on the food network/travel channel, like Man vs. Food and Best Thing I Ever Ate. We try to go to Atlantic City as often as we can. But, to be honest, one of my favorite things to do is have a lazy day with FH and spend the entire day in our pajamas watching movies and playing board games & video games

We both love sports & love the same teams so its really fun to go to games together. In fact I'd chose a game and some wings before to be the perfect date (our first date was an islanders game). I love football season. We literally devote the whole day to football. My cousins come over and we are all in the same fantasy football league together. I cook massive amounts of food and we spend the day on the couch watching football. A lot of people don't get it but its our thing. We also enjoy trying new restaurants and going to shows. We always have a good time together wether it's doing nothing, spending time with our nieces, or out & about.

ETA: we love traveling and going on vacation together. That's probably our favorite. We love cruising & going to Yankees spring training every year :)

When we are just at home we love to pick a series and watch it together. F we r going out we love vacations! We have been on a few each yar we were together. Actually before we were officially dating, we decided we would best get I know each other and see if we were compatable - we went to punta Cana for a week!

FH and I both love sports, especially hockey! I am an Islanders fan and he is a Pittsburgh Penguins fan (he is from Pittsburgh) so we go to a lot of games. We love going out to eat at new places, and going out for drinks. Since FH frequently works 14 hour shifts, we also spend a lot of time relaxing on the couch watching movies & tv, which we both enjoy!

FH and I hate sports lol. We would rather spend the day painting or going to MoMA. One of our favorite things to do is try different restaurants in the city. We're total foodies. But also we love our Netflix. We literally watched the first season of American Horror Story in 4 days.

FH and I love to just sit around and bum. We're big on the movies. We love to see movies (he also downloads a ton) and we're really big snugglers.

There is nothing I love better than coming home from work and curling up on the couch with him to watch whatever random movie he picks.


We also ride our bikes. We cycle together. We did the 40 mile tour in the city last year and we're doing it again this year. We also are planning to do the 100mile long island tour :)

FH and I are HUGE hockey fans, I never cared about hockey until we started dating but he got me into after he took me to my first game. Now I watch it more than he does! I know all about the players and can talk stats and he looks at me like 'where did this come from?' what can I say, I'm just crazy for the Rangers! Haha!

We also LOVE going to see broadway shows, and anytime we travel we like o see what the local theatre has playing. We went to Niagara Falls last fall and saw the greatest show (The Admirable Chriton) that has to be in our top 3, who would have thought we'd go crazy for a show in some random theatre I'm Canada! We also loved Jersey Boys and Wicked.

We have been lucky enough to travel a lot too so we spend a lot of time researching our next trip, whatever it might be! I can't wait to start looking into honeymoon stuff!!

But sometimes the best days are just hanging out at home watching our favorite shows. We recently became OBSESSED with Game of Thrones. It's amazing. I can't wait for season three to start (3/31, yeah!!). We watched the first season in 2 days, we spent the entire weekend laying in bed like total bums lol

FH and are both movie lovers so we love going to the movies or staying in and watching movies. We also love to be outdoors we spent a lot of last year walking the trails around long island all year cause it was mild enough too.

We LOVE traveling. We're known for just getting in the car and ending up in all different kinds of places...Canada, South Carolina- you name it we've been there hahaha

When we're not spontaneously driving around, we love to just stay home and hangout.

We love sports, especially going to games. One year he got me Mets tickets for my birthday and because there was a rain delay, not many people were there and we got to watch the entire game from the Acela Club. It was one of my favorite gifts. This year, he already asked me if I want tickets again for my birthday and I do!

We LOVEEEEEEEEE going out east to the vineyards. We used to do it almost every weekend when he lived in Manorville, but now that we're further west AND trying to save money, we don't get to go as often. We also like going to breweries, though I'm definitely more of a wine-o!

Since we're trying to save, we don't go out all that much. So a big Friday night for us is Panera and a Redbox rental which one or both of us always falls asleep in the middle of. But I don't mind. As long as we get to spend some time with just each other and not worry about money or other stuff, I don't care what we do!

We have some kind of weird things we enjoy doing together. We like to do this thing called geocaching. It's kind of a scavanger hunt using coordinates on a GPS. They are literally hidden EVERYWHERE. Google it, it's so much fun!!
My FH loves graffiti, so we like to go to the city and look for some art on the streets.
The best thing is both of these things don't cost any money except for gas money.

FH and I love to eat and we love to see movies! This is the best time of year because we always try to see all of the Oscar nominated flicks before the show.

We both really enjoy travel but have not had the opportunity to do it very much in the time we have been together. I am excited to get married young and have plenty of time before babies to try and see the world together!

FH and I love going to the movies and dinner! That is our go to date. We love going to concerts too. We also just love cuddling on the couch and just watching our shows and movies with one another.

We honestly enjoy doing everything together. We're both huge Giants fans, so our Sundays during football season are a lot of fun. We're also both Mets fans and Knicks fans, so we go to a lot of sporting events together. I've never dated anyone that liked the same teams as me, so I was very happy about that lol. We're actually going to a Knicks game this weekend! My uncle races in the NHRA so we love going to those as well - they're so much fun!

We also love to travel, go to Broadway shows (we're going to see Cinderella for V-Day - woohoo!), and are always trying new restaurants, but some of our favorite nights are when we buy a few bottles of wine, cook dinner together, play boardgames, find a new show on Netflix and watch like 11 hours straight.

I agree with MrsDtoBe. We enjoy doing everything together. It's surprising that two people with such different personalities can enjoy doing SO much together.

He's a huge Mets fan, and we really enjoy going to games together. I'm not such a huge sports fanatic, but I've grown an appreciation for it because I know how important it is to him.

We also really like trying new restaurants. He's basically tried all different types of food, but I'm much more picky. We recently went to New Orleans, and we both tried so many new foods (turtle soup?! I couldn't bring myself to try it, but he said it was delicious).

We also both love history and politics. He is a history teacher and I majored in Political Science in college, and so it's fun to get into debates and discuss it. We had a lot of fun playing both sides and watching the Presidential debates this year.

In the summer FH and I really like to go running/ walking at a local park!! when its nice out we go to the park all the time for walks/ picnics and spend the day just hanging out talking and having lunch! :)

another favorite is we probably go to the vineyards and go wine tasting 2-3 times a month :) we go to lunch at a small private shop out east and then go wine tasting all day! its so wonderful!! :)

We also like to try new restaurants which we haven't been doing so much to save for the wedding!

we also like to rent a red box movie get snacks and watch new movies weekly! :)

we have been trying to do many home things that are cheap to save!!!!

In the winter time FH and I like to go snowboarding when we can and cuddle and watch movies or shows (netflix) together. In the spring and summer we like to be more active. We love to go hiking and experience the out doors together. We also like to travel, but we are trying to save money for the wedding. We also like to cook together. He calls me his little sous chef lol. He is the one who taught me how to cook and we have fun together in the kitchen!! I enjoy every moment with him even if we aren't' doing much!

FH and I are complete homebodies! Its crazy! When we do venture out, our favorite thing to do is to go to the batting cages in the summer!
