QOTD | 10.10.13

Happy Thursday everyone! Today's question is dedicated to decision making! Are any of you having trouble making decisions about anything wedding or marriage related?

For example, for the life of me, I CANNOT make a decision on what bridesmaids dresses to do. I originally wanted to do dark purple but one of my BMs is getting married in 3 weeks and chose plum for her BMs dresses (i'm actually one of her BMs too). I know it's not a big deal to do the same color but i really want to be different. Plus i'm getting married in july and should do a lighter color. So i keep going back and forth between purple and gray (and sometimes black) for their dresses. I know I still have time but i could have sworn i'd have decided by now! I know I'm making FH a little crazed showing him picture every day lol.

What are you guys struggling to decide?

I think everyone knows phot and video are the thornes in my side!! I cannot commit!! I dont know why.. I just am unhappy with everything and I dont even want alot!!!

I'm struggling with some of the dumbest things and it's frustrating me. I second guess every small thing but big things like my venue, dress and DJ came as no brainer! I have been going back and forth on what our address return labels should look like - how dumb I can't just order them. I'm annoying myself so I don't know how FH is dealing with me lol

I have a lot I still need to decide. I am not from Long Island and I have only lived a little over a year. From hair & makeup to bridesmaid dresses. I am SO behind!
My FH is great and is trying to help anywhere he can because he was born & raised on LI but me, completely LOST!

We've actually been pretty decisive on every vendor we met with. With most we actually booked on the spot and have been extremely happy with our choices. This is surprising since I'm crazy indecisive. I think however I'm going to have a hard time deciding on the dress. It's such an important decision and I fear I will get overwhelmed! Going for my first appointment this Sunday...we'll see!

I got everything down pat now, but in the beginning I was struggling to come up with the proper theme. I knew I wanted vintage, but I couldn't decide which era I wanted. Thankfully, after much searching on Etsy and Pinterest, I realized I needed to have a Great Gatsby wedding.

Biggest decision was venue it took us 6 months to pick one and I am very happy with our decision. All the other big vendors came easily. Little things we go back and forth on like first dance song, favors.

Ahh! Good luck dress shopping! I did one 'practice run' with my MOH but have my real appointment 2 weeks from today. I'm nervous i won't be able to pick either!

I'm not really struggling with anything as of right now. Our biggest issue has been finding a place to live. All of the places we've seen I just haven't gotten 'that feeling' from and I'm not willing to settle for a place to live!

Wedding wise everything has been pretty easy - I'm sure it will be difficult once we go to the food tasting and have to pick out our menu!!!

We have been pretty decisive on things.. we took FOREVER to find the right photographer and i had quite a few make-up trials since no one really seemed to get the 'natural' look lol

we have been pretty decisive with our major vendors. i've book most either after the first meeting or only after meeting with one other vendor. i've been very happy so far with all of my choices, with no regrets!

i think invitations are going to bring out the indecisiveness in me. there are just so many to choose from, i can't imagine how i'm going to pick just one!

totally agree about knowing what i want. i have had a vision of my wedding for a long time now, so it's just about finding vendors who understand. i have very strong feelings about what i like and what i don't like, which makes decision making much easier for me.

Right now we are trying to decide on limo arrangements but haven't locked in on a company yet. This weekend we are taking our save the date pictures so hopefully deciding that one will be easy breezy.

This too...I know what I want and what I don't like so it's either yes or no, nothing in between! My whole family is surprised how smooth everything has been...I am a brat and they assumed i'd be a bridezilla. I am happy with all of the decisions I've made there was nothing yet that I had to have and couldn't get.

Shoes!!!! I cannot decide on what shoes I want to wear...which is totally ridiculous because I know I'll be in flip flops by the time the reception starts anyway haha

Decisions havent been bad. I've had a general idea what I was looking for (except flowers!) People have been more challenging about the decisions we've made and/or in general just aggravating.

I have a rule, I have to meet with at least three vendors before booking with one. And once I meet the right one, I'm decisive and we book. I'm a pretty decisive person, so I haven't been torn on many things. I can't even think of anything! LOL I'm a pretty decisive person.
