Hey ladies question of the day today is what everyone thinks about adding a viennese hour? Do you think its worth the money? will you be doing this? Has anyone gone to a wedding with it before and feel like it really added to the wedding?I'm really on the fence about adding the vh. I think it adds a nice touch and I'm a big sweets person so of course I would like a table full of goodies lol but I still can't decide if it worth all that extra money
I've been to a wedding a wcc that had the vh and it was amazing and so yummy but I was still so full from dinner that I only had a few bites. I would love to hear what you ladies think and are doing

When we looked at halls we always got quotes with and without VH. I only considered doing The VH at halls that had te tables and goodies off the dance floor. We didn't want he party to stop if we decided to do it. Some of the options seemed AMAZING and I've been to weddings where the VH was out I this world. But in the end we passed on it. My hall offers so much for dessert as it is and the extra money would have been a waste IMO because people will already be so full.

I had the same debate with the VH. I have been to weddings with awesome VHs, but like you ladies mentioned, I'm always so full I have to pass on most of it. Also - the VYC takes the VH out on the dance floor and that is an absolute no no for us. We don't want to stop the party any more than we have to. In the end, we went with the cake and a plate of different desserts at each table.

I would love to add the extra hour but the food isn't worth it Bc everyone will be full Imo so we didn't really consider it. Ive never stayed long enough at a wedding that had it to experience it lol

We're doing a VH, but I have a huge sweet tooth (like, will stop eating an entree to save room for dessert), plus I'm from a big Italian family, so a VH is kind of a given.BTW, I went to a wedding last month at CHCC and they had a VH, I thought it was great. Nice selection--the ice cream and waffles were my favorite.

Sand Castle includes it in the price and they allow to go boxes which is good. I've been to weddings with it and without and though its a nice touch I don't think it's necessary, like you said ppl are really full by then anyway.

I personally love the VH however we dont have it in the budget. I am going to try to see if a family friend makes cupcakes if they can place some on each table with the other deserts they give us. Or maybe do a mini candy bar at each table. The VYC puts chocolate covered strawberries and petit fours on each table whicare off the hook. I already told FH we are so taking a to go box for those sweets. I want them all lol

I am not a fan of VH. I don't think it really adds anything to a party. Any wedding I have been to with a full VH everyone walks around admires all the food, takes a few bites and that's it. It's very wasteful. There were tons of other upgrades that were more important to us than VH so we didn't think twice about leaving it off. We did add a few upgrades to the dessert portion of the night and are doing a chocolate fountain, coffee and cordial bar, and surprise food cart in addition to cake and a tiered pastry platter that will be on each table.

My RH threw in a mini VH for us because we booked by a certain date. So we are having the waiters walking around with trays full of mini desserts that people can just take. Nothing on the dance floor, so the party doesn't stop.

We would love to have one.... but we think everyone will be too full too to enjoy it. I love the take away boxes idea! Plus, I think WM is one of the venues where it would go on the dance floor and we didn't want that.

We were on the fence, but Floral Terrace threw it in for not too much extra per person, so we decided to go for it! I love sweets and I think it will add to the fun of the night even if everyone is too full to enjoy it much.
