Hi Ladies! hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and did many awesome wedding related or wedding NON related things

to kick off this week, here's my question of the day:

What was the first wedding related thing you did when you first got engaged?

first thing i did was plan this dang engagement party

we're having a chinese banquet in honor of my chinese heritage since we'll be doing an american wedding, so we thought this would be a fair compromise...

The first wedding related thing I did was picked the date, FH wanted to wait 2 years to get married, so then we started thinking of dates

hmm. i think the first wedding related thing we did was pick out a date. well not an exact date, but around the time that we wanted to get married.

Pick a date and a RH but had to change it to buy a house.

We decided on what year to get married and then i started planning our engagement party.

uh yea... we still don't have an exact date, and i think when we did come up with a tentative one we changed it like 10 times since

first thing i did was started to make RH appointments. We didn't know time of year that we wanted, we wanted to look at pricing first.

Looked into getting married at Disney....destination wedding was the original plan until we realized how many people would have to be left out.

you know? i wanted a destination wedding somewhere tropical and stuff, but fh ix nayed the idea so fast that i didn't even get to make my case haha, so we're planning our big fat chinese american wedding now

the first wedding related thing we did was start to look at the locations book. we wanted to decide on a place first & then work from there.

I booked an appointment at Lombardi's on the Sound and went that afternoon!

I called my Best friend and asked her to be my MOH

called my parent crying got on a train home from the city and my parents had all my friends and family over for champagne and dinner it was great

Well, we went home and told his family. Then, went to my house the next day and told my family. Then, we started shopping for an RH. :)

we kind of knew a rough range of dates we wanted so we went right into hall hunting and then based our date on price at the hall

made a list of dates that would work for us (im a teacher and it was important for me to go on our honeymoon right after the wedding) so we decided on july/august then we made a list of all the RHs we wanted to see.. and it was a verrrrrrrrrrrrry long list. called the church to see if our date was available and then we ended up booking the 3rd place we saw!

Started looking at RH. We went on a whole RH spree in January and picked one by Feb!
