FH and I first met when he came in to work for a job interview... I thought he was sooo cute but thought there was no chance of him working there bc we never had any cute guys!

I was soooo excited when he accepted the job... but I had a bf at the time and he was dating someone too. A few months later we had both broken up with our exes, so our first 'official' date was the midnight showing of Talladega Nights.

We met at a party thrown by a mutual friend.. We got to talking and we really hit it off. At the end of the night he offered to drive me home even though I lived over 30 minutes away and he had to wake up at 7am for work the next day and I knew right then he was a keeper!

Sorry it is kind of long...

I met my FH 14 years ago at college in PA i was dating someone at the time and had a small crush on him. I decieded to return home to finish school and hadn't spoken to him since.

Some of the guys from YCP had found me on myspace and we all reconnected on there. In the summer of 2006 FH and some of his college buddies met up for a mini reunion. His friends said you ya know Jenn is single you should look her up since you both live on LI. Well FH is so shy that they new he would never contact me so the messaged me and asked me for my contact info for FH. Well having the brass set that I have, I decided to messages him.

We talked on line for a couple of months and decided that we should meet up some where between Westhampton Beach (where I am from) and Plainview (FH's hometown). We went to Dave & Busters in Islandia at the end of September 2006.

The rest is history and now we are going to be married !!!

FH and I met on a dating website. We both signed up as a 'what the H-LL' kind of thing and we ended up finding eachother. As it turns out my dad and his brothers were friends with his mom and her sisters in HS. So our families have known eachother since before we were born. And we have a mutual group of friend from East Meadow which is where he grew up. Almost 6 years later we're still finding out things that connect us together and can't believe that we didn't meet before.
Our first date was to the movies. LOL I opted to pick him up (in case it was terrible) and I was running late of course. We got to the movie 20 mins after it started and they let us in for free. Cheap first date!! LOL

we have actaully known each other since we were young teenagers...he was older than me and I was best buds with his younger brother (our best man). years later...(2004) we just started looking at each other differently all of a sudden...cant explain it...it was weird...but i do believe that this man really is my soulmate...he was there all along BUT...it just wasn our time until now

We met at the nautical mile on memorial day weekend 3 1/2 years ago. I was working as Warsteiner girl (beer company) and he was there with his firm. I did promotions for the company and I walked up to him and asked him if he wanted to try the beer and we hit it off right away. He took me to Blue Honu for our first date and we wound up talking so much that the waitress probably came over about 15 times and we still hadn't even glanced at the menu yet. After dinner we went to a few bars in huntington village. It really was a great first date!

FH and I knew of eachother for a while.. we both lived in the same town and had some mutual friends but we never hung out. One day we were at a party and he started talking to me and then he called me the following week asking if I wanted to go to dinner.. He came to my apartment in the city (where i was living then) and we went to a nice sushi place... the rest is history...

FH and I met through mutual friend at a coffee house. I would see him around a lot and always thought he was cute but we were both dating other people at the time.

About a year later we were both broken up with our respective others and started going to the beach every Friday as 'friends'. That lasted for about a month before we kissed ...

My FH bought me to Huntington village. His friends boyfriend owned a restaurant there. We just went for drinks and tried to impress me b/c everyone knew him. (He also got hooked up with the bill... cheap date!) We had a great time, we clicked and have inseperable since.

We met through friends while me & the girls were out. My friends grew up with him. I worked out at the gym with his best friend.

Our first dat was drinks & dinner at Waterzooi in Garden City. Then we watched a movie together at his house. Simple & sweet. I also got a dozen roses that night. It happened to be my bday.

we met new years eve b/c we were both in the same wedding party, the bride and groom had a party at their house. Our first date was at the beach.

My friend was tutoring in me in accounting and FH was the president of Beta Alpha Psi. We met while I was being tutored and the first thing we did was argue (that's a whole other story for another post). Anyway, he started tutoring me whenever I was in Lorber Hall. After my accounting course was finished, we went our separate ways and met up again a semester later in a Chemistry class. Again, we parted ways not knowing how to contact one another. I saw him on campus at the end of that year, we went out for lunch in Greenvale and we never left each other's side after that. We were friends for a year, became very close, and eventually started dating. I still stink at accounting.

My ex-roomate's boyfriend and FH are friends so he introduced us. i didnt really like him at first bcuz he's very quiet and im well u all know, all over the place! but after a while of his insisting i finally decided to go out on a date. we both made reservations at benihana's without knowing and i thought that was hilarious. we had a really nice time and have been inseparable ever since! our second date was AMAZING! but that will be a story for another day

FH and i have worked together for about 3 1/2 years. we met my first summer at our job and i was in a relationship so at first we were just friends. over the course of a year we became really REALLY close friends. as things started to fall apart with my BF at the time, i really leaned on him for support and realized that i had more feelings for him than i would admit!!! so we were hanging out one night and he knew i was ready to break up with my boyfriend, and he asked me, 'what would happen if you didn't have a boyfriend'. we both knew there was an INSANE connection between us. the next night i ended it with the BF. i didn't really leave my boyfriend for FH. i left my bf because of the idea of there being someone better for me. and i needed that push. and it just so happens that FH is the man of my dreams!!!! our first official date was to the clubhouse in huntington. we hung out a few times and one night he said, i want to pick you up and take you out on a real date. it was the sweetest thing!! i just LOVE HIM!!!
