We became friends freshmen year because I had a HUGE crush on his friend Mark. One night Mark invited me to go out with him and his friends and we went to see Urban Legends on campus, Jay and Mark had to walk with me back up to college hill because it was a dark night and we were all jumpy. After that we all became the best of friends and I ended up dating another one of our friends, Brian.

Fast forward 2 1/2 years. I had just realized I was in a bad relationship with a guy in Jay's fraternity. On my way down the stairs from the guys room and breaking it off I saw Jay's door open and decided to stop in for the comfort of my friend. We watched the Perfect Storm and by the end of the movie you could tell we had sparks. Still nothing happened until Spring Break when Jay and I ended up kissing in VT.

We broke up after Senior Year when I lived in DC and he lived in CT. We were apart for just under 3 years. We tried to remain friends because we were part of a very close group of college friends who are still close today, but it was very difficult. Then in August 2005, after I moved home from DC, my family took a boat trip to Norwich, CT. Jay met up with us for the evening and we went to Mohegan Sun. The sparks were still there and that Labor Day weekend we decided we were meant for each other. The rest is history.

So we have known each other since 1998 and started dating originally in 2001 and again in 2005. Its about time were getting married!

FH and I met at...MACYS! It was my PT job while in college and his 2nd job at the time. We started out as co-workers/friends since he had a GF at the time, plus the fact there was a bit of an age difference (11yrs). Thorugh the years we stayed in touch after we both left that job, he broke up with his GF but no dating. Fast forward a few years, we finally decided ' what the hell' lets go on a date since we both were interested in one another. Date was great and we have been together ever since.

So basically known each other since 1997, officially began 'dating' in 2005. (hey it only took us 8 years to figure it out and now I cannot believe we will be married in May.)

We always joke it was MACYS that brought us together (and happens to be our FAVORITE store!)

We meet in college.. He sat behind me during our intro to Business class.. hehe we passed notes like we were in Hs still it was fun n cute.. Our 1st date was at the Long Island grill and a movie... The normal 1st date for this island... :)

we met in a chat room...insane I know...this was over 10 years ago though.....we realized we knew the same people, and talked on the phone like a month and a half before meeting. We were just friends for the first 3 months we knew each other and started dating in June of '98, first date was to the movies to see the Truman Show and then we went to have dinner at the diner we always hung out at with our frriends. That was our first 'official' date.....however it was almost a MONTH after we had started going out because we were always so busy!!!! Little has changed in 10 years!!!!

We met through friends actually.My best friend was dating his best friend and they didnt try to hook us up or anything. One day we were at the pool hall in dix hills, and that were I met him. I remember he had on a wife beater and I though he was really cutelol. He was ttying to flirt with me but this guy that I was friends with was blocking him lolll. Anyway we both really liked eachother and the next day my friend calls me and is like what do you think of chris b/c he rreally likes you loll. It was awesome unfortunalty our friends arent together but when they wereit was great that first year all the four of us did was hang out it was soo much fun!!

We met on Myspace almost 4 years ago. I liked him from his first post. We exchanged yahoo sn's and chated for hours. We both knew this was special. I guess we were right!!!

ayway we met through his cousin ..she was my best fd at time..that was whn i was in high skul..so i broke up wth my bfd(at that time)..and had no one to go to the prom with..so she told me to go with him....i never met him...soo.,..i said..wtvere..im just going to have fun..
so we started talking...with him..through her..and omg...i fell in looove!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he was in college already ...and he was soo sweet..I couldnt help it...and he actually told me he loved me when he asked me out... hehhehe

FH and I have know each other for about 10-11 years but very casually. I met his roomates in Europe through mutual friends in 1996 and they introduced me to him soom after. FH and I it off in 2004 though when we both got invted to a mutual friends wedding solo and were seated at the same table. Our first 'get together' after that was at Gaslight on 14th in the city. Our second date was dinner across the street from there at Vento.

We met at our church.. our first date was a group thing with church but our first date just us was to a seafood restaurant in port jeff. we still go back and remember it.. aww i loved it

my bestfriend asked him why he wasnt dancing (we were at the foggy goggle in the hamptons) bc she thought he was really cute and he ended up coming up to me after!

FH and I knew each other at least 2 years before going out....We met at work in the break room...... then we started to hang with the same group of people from work less than a year after that...we kinda clicked well with each other and would occassionally go to eat or to get a drink by ourselves....... our first official date as a couple was to see 'Santa Claus 2' in the theaters..... a week later we were officially going out
been together almost 6 years and known each other well for 8

We met at Starbucks, 4 years ago next week. I was with a friend, he was on his way to meet people. Apparently his car battery died in the parking lot, so he came in and asked for a jump. It took forever to get the car started, it was a big production, but we bonded, and he asked for my number, and called me early the next week to take me out.

Our first real date after that was the next Friday, he took me to Z-Pita in Port Jeff, which was the first of many souvlakis to come hehe. We've been together ever since, and even though sometimes I come off like I hate my FH in some of my gripes, I love him more than anything.

We both had classes together in college and did the staring bit for a few weeks. Then after a lil friendly banter and a couple of walks together, he took my number. Our first date was great! He took me to a hockey game - third row from the goal - but I don't think we saw a minute of it since we were talking the whole time Then out to a diner where I embarrassed myself by accidentally flinging my fries onto the table whilst trying to move them to a different plate... Then to a coffee house. It was a wonderful time and nearly 10 years later we still act all silly sometimes like we are just starting out
