Morning everyone. This has been a rough week for me so I apologize for not being as fully 'present' as i would like to be!
So, today I want to know... throughout the wedding planning process, has there been anything that you and FH have disagreed on where you just said eff it I don't care we're doing it the way I want? If not, is there anything you can think of that IF he disagreed with you, you wouldn't care?
I try to take my FH's opinions on everything to come up with something we both like. We haven't had any issues so far. BUT... IF he disagreed with me on flowers, CP styles, types of flowers, etc., I have to say I wouldn't give a rats heiney and I'd keep them the way I want!!!
What about y'all?

We haven't really disagreed on anything. The things that are most important to me are most important to him too so it's hard to think of a 'what-if' scenario.

Oddly enough, we're having issues over the BMs dresses!
He wants them to look really good because he wants a good looking BP. I think it will be a good looking BP regardless, but I'm pisssed because it shows he doesn't care for my taste in dresses.
We discussed a couple of dress options and I like them, but in the end, I want a dress that will flatter all my girls. FH and I agreed on cocktail length dresses, but I'm thinking I was something full length and form fitting I figure he'll forgive me if I choose something different!

We have agreed in everything...except the color scheme. He hates brown...and I pretty much told him I dont care. He isnt making a fuss about it, but made it clear he doesnt love it.

we havent disagreed on anything, pretty much because he isnt involved... and hes not paying for anything!
well other then the fact that he wants the dumb and dumber tuxes... normally i would think this was an obvious joke, but he really seemed serious!

dont get me wrong i love patken but if it were up to me i would have picked duet. there was no way i was going to win that battle. he was sold on them the second we walked in. he is paying a big chunk for the wedding so it cant only be about me and what i want.
the doc was a battle he wasnt going to win. he doesnt see a need for it but i do. so im getting one

We’ve disagreed on just one thing- Our 1st dance song. I wanted a faster paced song and he was totally against it and I’m sorry to say but- he won…Other than that, we’ve pretty much been on the same page.

i think we have pretty much agreed over everything. thats also because he only really cares about the big stuff....he leaves the little details to me.

Oh man we had so many disagreements! About music, time lines, even his shoes
But the only thing I didn't care was the music. He is a music snob and think that playing Led Zepplin (no offense to anyone) is a good choice. He wants it all to be Rock. I know my guests and sure his guests will appreciate something more dancy and party like. He doesnt like dancing and I love dancing, so I want my idea of what is dance music. So ye now he sees it my way, and altho he isn't happy with 'MTV crap' I am having it my way. Everything else is gone the moment either one of us doesn't like it. So was with flowers - the moment he saw the sample I didn't even need to look at it, to say 'its gone!'. It's his wedding us much as mine, obviously, so I want the both of us happy with everything.

I love them too, Ang, but as u said its not wedding music. My argument is if ME cant dance to it, I dont want it

aside from him losing the battle that we have a met's themed wedding and have mr met at the wedding(i am a yankee fan, so this makes no sense to me!), we have agreed on almost everything. now he really wants 1/2 met and 1/2 yankee team number/jersery pics for the table numbers and i want island names, but i think he realized the baseball idea would be too difficult and the islands go with out beach theme (he was into the beach theme!)

We really havent had any disagreements about wedding stuff. We have pretty much agreed on everything.

the only disagreement we had was over getting married in Church. FH didn't want to & since he was never Confirmed he figured that would be his way out. however, i found a Church & a priest who would marry us & i just explained to him that this is very important to me.
we compromised by getting married in Church then going to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens (where he wanted to get married) for pictures after.

We haven't disagreed on too much. He was against having our reception in a hall but we decided that was best. The flowers would have to be where I would override his opinion because he doesn't really care about them or so he says!

So my FH has been away for work since April 09' the only thing we booked together was the RH. I booked the band/DJ and photographer. We plan on booking a florist when he comes home next week (finally I'm so excited its been a crazy time w/o him). I have been showing him pics of what I like. He has basically told me I have expensive taste and will see when he comes home. I think this will be the biggest challenge and I foresee disagreements on how much to spend on flowers.
