I hope everyone got through their Monday ok. It was a rough one for me so I am SUPER happy its Tuesday!!! Ok, this ques is sort of a 'fantasy' one like yesterday. I'm sure each of you have heard the saying that 'Women are always training their men to be or act a certain way.'
Well, lets say your Fairy Godmother grants you 1 wish to have FH 'trained' to do or act a certain way. What would you chose & why?
I would have FH learn how to put things away. I know a basic grip w/women but it drives me CRAZY when he leaves EVERYTHING and ANYTHING laying around. I'm starting to think I'm a little OCD Aside from the obvious reason why, that I want everything to be neat but also, I think that if he would take the upper hand and do it, I would feel less like his 'maid' and not be as frustrated when I am cleaning up.
Have a great day Ladies!

DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FH hates to dance, and I love to. And for the past 10 years, the only time I get to go out dancing is when I go out with my girls.
I've been telling him for months that we're taking dance lessons and he laughs at me. But we are because my mom is getting them for us for Christmas
This could be mine too! Whenever we go to weddings we argue because he won't dance with me until he's had a few drinks. I get so mad at him and tell him he better dance with me all night at our wedding!!

I'd train him to not leave all his stupid electronics and radios out for everyone to see. FH is an amateur HAM radio enthusiast and he collects these awful and bulky looking radios all over the house. His desk has about 6 radios crammed into the drawers and it pisses me off when I try to find anything on his desk because he's so freakin disorganized and just throws everything on there...

He has no concept of time. Like, he'll say 'remember the other day when we...' and I'm like 'uh, that was in MAY'.
Mine's like this but the OPPOSITE. He'll be like do you remember that thing last month...and I'll be like 'That was this morning!!!' But that's not what I would change. That's actually hilarious.

To NOT be so obsessed with money! He has to know where every single penny goes. Ugh.

Re: QOTD 11-10-09
There are a few things, I would like him to be able to dance (fast dance) not just slow dance - he is good with the slow dancing - I can't wait to take lessons
and to Clean-up!!! he leaves his crap all over and it drives me crazy because our apt is a dot and when a few things are out of place it looks like a hurricane went through it!

Laura this is too funny. I think it's awesome that you two are going to take dance lessons.
I've been trying to teach DH ballroom for a year He picks up quickly but then he forgets and we start all over. So far he can swing (west coast, east coast & lindy) just a little, and cha-cha (just a tiny bit). He's such a good sport about it that I can't complain but he loves to contradance which I hate
EDA: However, if I were actually answering the QOTD I'd want DH to be 'trained' to clean up after himself.

I can't deal with a lot, but he needs to learn to clean the bathroom after himself. It's like a little kid just used it when he leave the bathroom. Water on the mirror, towels on the floor, toothpaste open, medicine cabinet open. Just annoying.

LISTEN!!!!!
I swear he doesn't hear anything. He says maybe I shouldn't talk so much. Then I say I talk so much because he never listens... and round and round we go.

I would train him to shut off lights & lock doors when he comes home at night. He NEVER shuts off lights when he leaves a room....and he gets home from work after me & then doesn't lock the front door. I leave for work earlier than him & most of the time, the door is left unlocked all night
That's 2 things really but they both annoy me!

YES!!!! i'd wish for that too!!!! FH can slow dance...but he's a reaaaally bad informal dancer. i always say he like, bounces to every song! he's like that main guy from Hitch!!!! i have to constantly say, 'step touch step touch step touch....this is where u live....they dont need no pizza! they got food there!'
