I hope everyone got through their Monday ok. It was a rough one for me so I am SUPER happy its Tuesday!!! Ok, this ques is sort of a 'fantasy' one like yesterday. I'm sure each of you have heard the saying that 'Women are always training their men to be or act a certain way.'
Well, lets say your Fairy Godmother grants you 1 wish to have FH 'trained' to do or act a certain way. What would you chose & why?
I would have FH learn how to put things away. I know a basic grip w/women but it drives me CRAZY when he leaves EVERYTHING and ANYTHING laying around. I'm starting to think I'm a little OCD Aside from the obvious reason why, that I want everything to be neat but also, I think that if he would take the upper hand and do it, I would feel less like his 'maid' and not be as frustrated when I am cleaning up.
Have a great day Ladies!

DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FH hates to dance, and I love to. And for the past 10 years, the only time I get to go out dancing is when I go out with my girls.
I've been telling him for months that we're taking dance lessons and he laughs at me. But we are because my mom is getting them for us for Christmas

ONE thing always drives me crazy- put his shoes away, he kicks them off and leaves them in the middel of the floor and it drives crazy!
WAIT I change my mind - to get him to stop smoking

Hmmm it's either I'd get him to stop smoking or make him less indecisive. When we go out to eat, he changes his mind maybe 10 times before the waiter gets to the table to take the order. He's indecisive about e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.

He has no concept of time. Like, he'll say 'remember the other day when we...' and I'm like 'uh, that was in MAY'. He's also perpetually late to everything because of that.
Grumblegrumblegrumble.
But I love him and have to learn when to pick my battles about being late and whatnot.

I would 'train' him to know what to say and when. Sometimes I don't want the immediate solution, I just want him to talk the situation out with me and let me vent and then an hour later he can give me the solution, that he had the moment I opened my mouth

I'd train him to call me to let me know when he will be home and to tell me if he is running late!

I would train him to listen better, and not yell at me that I never told him things (that I did gazillion times ) and also to comprehend the info I am conveying - he likes to claim, after I explained gazillion times something, that I never explained myself well
if this one thing the fairy can fix with him everything else will be very easy to handle

FH is always on the computer or phone checking his fantasy sports or watching any sporting show that's on tv and now he's playing football almost every Sunday. I've already declared our wedding day a sports free event.

I would train him to be more detail-oriented, like when he forgets to tell me his mom is coming over and our place is a MESS!

i would say to be a better listener.... but that is a toss up. i would love for him to not always have his cell phone open texting or looking up sports scores and watching games on it. we can be anywhere and he does not understand that it can be so rude!
