I knew I wanted fall fh and I love fall and everything about it. October 18th is actually the day we ran into each other at a Halloween party and we have been together ever since.

FH and I are both teachers, so we knew it would be best to have a summer wedding (we both felt strongly about taking our honeymoon right after). We didn't want August because we didn't want to go on our honeymoon and come right back to the first day of school, so we looked at July, because the end of June is not only my 30th bday, but it's too close to school ending. We have a friend getting married July 4th so we wanted to give at least a week in between in case they did their honeymoon and it would give friends a chance to recover! Then, to tell the truth, I counted the weeks of every month to see when my period was coming... didn't want to have it on the wedding or honeymoon hahahahaha
My period is all over the place so I can't even determine when it will come that far in advance. But it's my biggest fear!! I'll get down on my knees and pray it doesn't come around wedding or honeymoon.
I am in the same boat mine is all over too and I don't know when it will come if it will come at all sometimes. I had a wedding nightmare I had an incident with my white dress cause I got my period the day of. Total worse fear.

We wanted a summer wedding. Well more me than him he didn't really care either way. We hae more than 75 percent of our guests traveling so we knew we didn't want a snow storm in winter. So we picked June. It is great bc he is from Canada and it backs up to a long weekend for them so if they wanted to sight see in my they have sun and mon to do so before having to go back to work

We wanted a summer wedding for sure. Once our venue said a Friday would be a better deal, we just narrowed down our options and 7/11 jumped out to my fiancee and she was fixated on that date soon after. It actually wound up working out to fit her personality because she loves going to AC for slots and I normally take vacation around this time anyway - I think it's the best weather of the year.

I always said we would get married on 5/17/14. Even when we were far from engaged, I liked the date, and I remember looking ahead to find out what year the 17th fell on a saturday lol. Then one day FH and I are on a walk, and I always suggest we talk about the wedding. I said well, so we picked a date, do you like it? And out of no where he just goes, 'No, I think it should be in July'. I felt terrible that I had never really asked him what he wanted. July made more sense, he is a teacher and I am a school counselor, not to mention that 6 out of 8 bridal party members are either teachers or students. I am much happier with this date, I love summer and I love that I will be off of work before and after!!!

We picked our date because March is one of the least expensive months. We originally planned at Mets Spring Training honeymoon, but then changed plans and are headed to San Juan instead, and thought March would be great. In addition, tulips (my favorite flower) are in season, and I could get them at a great price.

Fh and I wanted to get married on March 5th, because it's our 10 yr anniversary. But it's a Wednesday and I didn't want to inconvenience our guests. So, we're getting legally married that day and having dinner with immediate family, then doing a ceremony and reception with friends and extended family that Saturday, March 8th. I will always count our wedding date as March 5th. FH 'asked me out' at midnight because he knew my favorite number was 5 and didn't want to ask me on the 4th. Lol

We are getting married on August 9th. We both wanted a summer wedding and since we have A LOT of out of town guests we wanted to make it as conveinent as possible. We tried to avoid all holidays and make it before school starts so people with kids could attend without any issues. Also, our dating anniversary is in August and I liked the idea of maintaining that through our marriage. I thought 8/9 would be easy for him to remember too! hahaWelcome New Vendors
