Good morning everyone!!! Thanks agan to Sheena for making me BOTW.
My first question is:
What makes your wedding unique?? What will people say that makes it your wedding??
For me and FH it is a lot of the DIY projects we did. The wish tree, the table numbers, the programs. Also we added a chocolate fountain and I have been talking about this forever One of our friends also wrote our love story to put in the program at our wedding. The last thing would be that I am having my students in the wedding. This was soooo important to me.

First off, CONGRATS MELISSA! I was hoping you got BOTW Yayyyyyyyy!!!!
We are making our wedding unique by having our daughter such a big part of it. She's our Maid of Honor and has been incorporated into every aspect of our wedding. The other way it's unique is we've also incorporated quite a few Celtic aspects.

First Congrats on being BOTW!
Im stil in the early planning process but I think my wedding will stand out bc of the steel drum band with the cigar roller during our cocktail hour
Im hoping to do a lot of diy projects including the escort card table/favor table centerpiece, the programs, and whatever else may come along

Other than everyone in my family or friends who's weddings are beautiful and elegent and classic... I am going for a whole Chic and Trendy vibe. Very fun and playful. I am doing it in a very upscale way but soo different than any wedding I have been to.

it will be our little touches that make it us. FH is a HUGE football fan and everyone knows that so we are doing
---football themed tables (named after his favorite players) --football jersey place cards --being announced in to a football song --i am wearing red shoes and the GM's are wearing Black Adidas with red stripes, FH will have black with white stripes (our colors are red white and black) --our programs. my uncle is an artist and he is drawing caricatures of the BP to put in the programs

great Q! what makes it our wedding is that FH designed the STDs and the invitations. We are not having a BP, just close family standing with us at the huppah (ppl would've been extremely surprised if I had BMs and GM, so not me). Our colors of white and green and an underlying theme of a tree and growth is another thing that tho ppl might not notice but is very us and something we share. Also, one of the most important things is the music. I am having all of our origins music: Israeli, Russian, American and French. I want ppl to know that just b/c we are having it here in US doesnt mean we forget where we come from.

Now for the question of the day, I would say our wedding is unique because we're having a mix of fun and elegance. We're doing a lot of really nice touches like damask table runners, engraved votive candles, elegant white centerpieces and then we're having fun stuff thrown in like our photobooth, candy buffet, and drunk bride and groom cake topper!

Our wedding if going to be unique from the little things I am trying to add in. I am making my place cards myself but they are not 'cards' I am using favor tins, with silk daisy flowers on top, and placing them all in a bed of grass. During the ceremony since it will be June outside I am going to be leaving wooden fans on the chairs and have lemonade and pink lemonade in those big glass containers for the quests. We are doing a photobooth which I have only seen at one other wedding lately I have been to, so this should be fun for everyone.

haha... we were origianlly going to do met and yankee players for the tables and jersey's as the escort cards!

everything is beached themed, i personally have never been to a non-destination wedding like that! i love that their are 3 separate pieces to our centerpieces so that most couples can take one candle home, its like a 3rd favor! everything is very geared towards showing FH's and my personality, so I think everyone will know it is our wedding and no one else's could be like it!

I am making our wedding more as a party than a wedding. We are not doing the traditional wedding things like the boq/garter toss and parent dances

Well, just like we had John Travolta at our eparty, we're going to do something musical/entertainment wise.
We have the string quartet playing for the ceremony followed by a male vocalist for the CH right through dinner.
Looking over his song list, we may actually have him sing either our song or one of the parent dance songs.
We're doing 1 1/2 hrs for the vieneese spread, oh and the most unique thing..........a flower girl who is not wearing white!!!!!!!
