Fall Sundays in our house are dedicated to football, so I'm wondering...
Has FH made you a sports fan or changed your team allegiances?
I wasn't a big football fan before we started dating, but FH has turned me into a Jets fan. I've also been pulled into the dark world of fantasy football! It is so nice though to share one of FH favorite hobbies!

FH hasn't really changed me in terms of sports. I grew up surrounded by Giants fans so I've been a HUGE Giants fan since I was little. I was always a Mets fan too and just a general basketball fan.
Since I started dating FH, he and I have become big Knicks fans and love going to games together. But some of our favorite days are football Sundays where we just relax and cook together. Today we're going out for brunch! Yum!

It's actually the other way around!! Lol! FH is from Colombia, so 'football' means something else to him. Hahaha. When we started dating, he knew about football, but wasn't a fan. He didn't understand the rules, etc. My dad is a huge sports fan, so I grew up knowing aaalllll about sports, baseball and football mostly. So I actually taught FH about sports! Lol. Now it's one of our fave things to do together! We're huge Yankee and Jets fans.

I didn't know anything about the WWE before I met him...well just very little...but he is a lifelong fan and got me into it. In return, I got him to attend more Yankee games. He followed them more when he was younger.

when we first started dating I'd go meet him and his friends every Monday night at this bar for football. I heard he was a jets fan so I ran to Victoria secret to get a cute jets top lol. the night we first kissed I was wearing it. I so only wore it for him lol.
years later I'm still not into football lol like at all. but I did watch it every Monday with him back then. We even got my dog a jets jersey. but now I usually just stay upstairs while he watches the game Sunday/Monday nights.
every year we now have a superbowl party with all our friends which I never did before. I think being into sports is just not in my blood.

FH watches football and I cook, today I'm making a big pot of chili. I'm not a sports fanatic and don't like watching it on TV, however I will go to any game, that's much more enjoyable for me.
Since college I finally got into watching football but never really had an allegiance to a team. I liked the jets and giants. FH is a full fledged jet fan so he swayed me to the jets side.
He constantly wants to convert me into a rangers fan but I am forever an islanders fan :)

FH and I both hate baseball. He is a Cowboys football fan and I am a Patriots football fan. I play soccer, so I have gotten him into understanding that a little bit!

FH made me a HUGE Rangers fan, I never even liked hockey before we met but now I follow it more than he does! We've both always liked football, but now that he's off on Sundays it's become our ritual to dedicate our whole day to wings and beer! I love watching sports together

I'm a New Englander, by birth and FH has been a Long Islander all his life. So, we have a serious Pats/Jets rivalry. Our family and friends are amazed that we've been able to make it work (teeh-hee), but I think the competition and constant ribbing is actually adds some twisted fun to our relationship. Missing a football game is not an option, for either of us.

I am a HUGE sports fan, so it FH. He has got more into hockey since we've been together. Our first date was an Islanders game. We are in the same fantasy football league. We are both sports fanatics. and we both like the same teams (I would not have dated him had he not been a jets/islanders fan, seriously)
