~*~***QOTD - 12/19/09***~*~

Helloooo my awesome 2011 Brides!!

It's so freezing cold out I love being all warm & toasty inside I make the Rice Krisipie Treat House with my best friend tonight hehe..we're such old ladies but I love it!! everyone be careful tomorrow with this *****Blizzard they're talking about!!!*****

Here is your question!!

We all seem to love absolutely planning our weddings. But did you always love weddings?? or did it just start when you got engaged & began planning your own?

I can honestly say that it began at a very young age for me. As a little girl, I always had a dream of being a bride. When I was 7, I dressed up for halloween & was in my glory...exhibit a..pic below haha! My grandma had a doll that represented each of her grandchildren & mine was ironically..a bride..lol I have it on my dresser now & think of her everyday. I always wanted to watch movies having to do with weddings, and as I got older wanted to know all the details if someone I knew was getting married and loooved going to them! I really feel that I want to work in the 'wedding world' some how someday because this is something I always had a passion for. So excited to finally be planning my own!

I am the opposite - I was such a tom boy and didn't go to any weddings until I was older so I didn't really understand the big deal.

I think I really started to get on the bride train in college when I was with my ex and he was my first LONG term boyfriend.

I was the kid that played with GI Joe instead of Barbie and played football with the guys lol so weddings weren't my thing lol.

I have been so in love with weddings for the LONGEST time! My grandma and I would by BRIDES magazine before I even had a boyfriend and just let the ideas flow and flow! As mentioned before I need/want to get into the planning business at some point! I just LOVE it!

I started loving the planning process in 2007 when one of my really close girlfriends got married. I just had so much fun helping and going to appts with her.

Little did I know I'd be engaged a year later!

I think my love for wedding planning began after FH and I were in a serious relationship. When I was little I used to think about my wedding day like other little girls...but I wouldn't really think about it too much. Once FH and I got serious and I knew he was the one I started thinking about our wedding day more and more (for a few years before we got engaged)! But before I was with FH I knew I wanted to get married but never really thought about any details. I also was never with any other guy that even came close to being 'the one.'

I think I have always dreamed about getting married. I didn't know details and even when I thought I liked something it would change but I always couldn't wait to be married. At my last job, my co-worker was planning her wedding and that really gave me the wedding planning itch. hahah To be honest though now that I have to be planning my actual wedding I feel that it is soooo stressful.

I feel EXACTLY the same way...it wasn't until I got serious with FH that I started really dreaming about our wedding!

Didn't start thinking about it until I was in a long term relationship (around 23 yrs old). Then not again until I was with FH and we were together about 3 years

I was more into dream wedding planning when I was younger than I am now. I used to make my brother play with his GI Joes and they had to walk down the aisle with Barbie. I have short periods when I am into planning now but I think the wedding is too far away to feel all the excitement just yet but I know it will happen once I get into dress mode!
