Thanks so much, Laura, for making me BOTW!! I am going to keep these G-rated, since I'd like everyone to be able to answer. So....I've been listening to this song about regrets, so I thought I'd ask a question about that. However, I didn't want to be a total downer, so this is a two part question:
***What is something that you're really proud of that you've done in your life? What is something that you regret?***
One thing I am really proud of is how I've been able to learn to speak Spanish. Growing up in a non-bilingual family, I always envied people who were able to communicate in other languages, so I was really excited when I got proficient and then fluent in Spanish.
The thing I regret is so ridiculous, and 13 years later I should realize that this really didn't make any difference in the scheme of things. Anyway, when I was 11 years old, starting seventh grade, we were starting to switch classes for the first time (instead of staying in one room with one teacher all day). A few weeks into school, I asked my best friend if she wanted to exchange schedules so we could find each other during the day. She gave me this really strange look like I was stalking her and rolled her eyes. Within a month our friendship was over. Granted, I don't think our friendship was going to last anyway, but for years I was convinced that was the reason, and looking back I still get red thinking about that situation.
(This is NOT my biggest regret...but with bigger ones, it's hard to say, because they led to so many other things that I can't necessarily say that I wish they didn't happen, because I don't know where I'd be now if they didn't....you know? So if you think of something that could be a big regret, but you don't regret it b/c it ended up leading to lots of good...pick something smaller.

i am proud of myself for graduating college in 3 years with honors. it was one of the hardest things i have ever done.
i kind of regret not looking into other schools when i decided i hated my first school and decided to come home to go to school. but then again, if i hadn't done what i did then i probably would not have the same 'something i am proud of' listed.

I, like many other people, am proud of the fact that I graduated college because i am the first person on both my mom's side and my dad's side of the family to do so. Also, no one in my family, on either side, is currently in college right now. So, I am very proud of that.
As for a regret, hmm, im not really sure. I dont really regret anything to be honest.

I'm proud that I quit smoking a few years ago. I'm proud that I finished my Masters by 23 and that I was already teaching for 2 years.
I regret a lot of dumb things I did in middle school and high school!

Something I am proud of is that I passed my CPA exam and became a CPA. Even though I do not use my CPA anymore, it has helped me to get a great job that I am really proud of.
Something I regret is not keeping in better touch with my friends throughout college and even my college friends after college.

I'm proud of my career path through auditing, getting my CPA, and now where I am in the litigation consulting field. I was promoted to Director last year and have been recognized for success in this position.
I regret losing touch with many of my college friends after falling out. I wasn't in a good place mentally and they didn't know how to help me so they were distant--I just thought they were being mean. Wish I could go back in time.....

I'm proud of graduating from grad. school with a 4.0. and losing (and maintaining) almost 60 lbs.
One thing I somewhat regret...I went to a REALLY expensive private college and now I have to pay back alot in student loans. So sometimes I wish I stayed home and commuted to a closer school..but it was a great experience.
