Happppy Friday everyone!!!!!! I keep seeing this question on the bottom of every QOTD and have been wanting to ask!!
What was your first job ? So how old were you ? Did you like it ? For fun - what was the pay ? Do you think it started you on the road to anything?
My first job was at Campbell's Bakery!!! I started when I was 15 at $6.75 and worked there for 5 years! I eventually got promoted to cake decorator and I really loved it.. but I hated the hours!!! We had to be there at 4am on Saturdays, 6am on Sundays! LOL. I think it really helped get my creative side out & helped me learn MANY things about responsibility! I loveddddd decorating wedding cakes, they were my favorite! I still go to them for everything. They'll be making my wedding cake! (Which was actually a dealbreaker at RH's when I was looking, whether they would let me bring in my own cake or not!)

My first job was babysitting. I was 16 years old. I enjoyed it. I got to read to the kids and watch tv with them. I think the pay was $7 an hour. This job added to my interest in teaching.

It was gross dealing with ham all day For fun - what was the pay ? im pretty sure it was $5 Do you think it started you on the road to anything? Nope. but looking back I probably should have become a vegetarian from it.

My frist job was at Target as a cashier when i was 17. I liked the people not the work. I started when the store opened so we all started together. I think the pay was $7.25 or something close to it. It really did not start me towards anything, beside seeing all the crazy people out there.
I worked at the Levittown Target when I was 17!! Thats were me and FH met!

My first job was babysitting three kids when I was 16. I loved it and those kids so much, they paid me $10 an hr so it was really good at the time. Even tho the parents wanted me to parent and not them they were really good to me even taking me with them to help in Hawaii

This brings back such memories and a love for why I've never had to work retail or restaurants.
My first job was as a soccer league referee. I was 10 year old, I refereed the 4 adn 5 years olds.
It was so much fun to supervisor and teach the children the rules to the game, as refs for the little kids were forgiving.
I'd work 3 to 5 hours each and every Sunday for 10 weeks in the sprin and fall. I made $10 an hour.
At age 10, $30 to $50 a week is great when you're 10.
