Happy Friday!!

What is the best gift you've given FH? And what is the best gift FH has given you (not including your engagement ring)?

The best gift I've given FH was for his 25th birthday. I surprised him with a trip to Yankees spring training. First I gave him a puzzle with a poem about how 25 would be fun. He then had a bunch of numbered gifts. He opened a matchbox airplane. Then big league chew gum, a Yankees shirt, and the Yankees spring training tickets, then he opened snowcaps, a Tampa bay lightning shirt, and lightning tickets. We went away for a long weekend. He was totally surprised & we had such a great time we went back the next year. We are missing it this year due to saving for the wedding. I can't wait to go back. We love it!

The best gift FH gave me was probably the first gift he ever gave me for my birthday. It was a jets teddy bear that he put diamond earrings on and a pair of jets tickets. It was very thoughtful and I loved how he put the earrings on the bear. He has bought me some really nice jewelry over the years and I love it all. I LOVE jewelry!

My FH and I are all about buying each other presents that we can both share in the experience! Trips and adventures are on our top list of things to buy each other.

The best gift I ever gave him was a trip to New Hampshire where we went Indoor Skydiving (http://www.skyventurenh.com -SO MUCH FUN!) and finished the day with an Anheuser Busch Beer Master Tour (YUM). It was an amazing weekend and he had a blast!

The best gift he ever gave me was last Christmas 2011. He got me a beautiful necklace along with a trip to Boston, because I had never been. He presented it to me in the cutest way... made a packet with different pictures of sites we would be seeing in Boston and included an itinerary for our entire weekend. So thought out and special!!

The best gift I've ever given Fh was probably the first birthday of his we were together. I got him an iPod touch and tickets to see Rain on Broadway. He's a huge Beatles fan so he loved it.

He's gotten me a lot of great gifts but it has to be a tie between the birthday he told me he was taking me for a hot air balloon ride or the Christmas he got me a flying lesson.

The best gift I've ever given FH is probably Breitling I gave him for our 1st anniversary. But he tells me its a tie between that and the Giants season tickets I gave him for our 3rd.

The best gift he's ever given me is probably the diamond studs he gave me for Christmas one year.

The best gift I've ever given FH is a toss-up between Green Day tickets for his birthday a few years ago or the iPad mini I got him this Christmas. I also benefited from these gifts, but that's not why I got them, LOL.

The best gift he's ever given me, hands down, was a kitten this past Christmas!

Hmmmm....

The best gift I ever gave him was probably a weekend trip to boston. It was the only place that was showing the live show of 'A Bronx Tale' and it also coincided with a Ranger game there!!! So we made a weekend out of it!!

The best gift he ever gave me? He took me to Mexico for my 30th birthday. We had our own plunge pool and jacuzzi on the deck...It was FANTASTIC!

I think the best gift FH ever got me was tickets to see Jay-Z for my birthday the first year we were together. Oh and jewelry. But not like nice jewelry, I love custome jewelry. He got me this sick ring that looks like a plate with two cookies and a cup of coffee. It's 3-D!

I think the best gift I ever got him was an ipad. I bought it for him after his mom passed as a 'don't worry, be happy' gift.

I think the best gift FH ever got me was my Kindle Fire. He bought it for me when we were only dating for about 3 months as a surprise 'no reason' present. He also bought me a Ninja Turtle half shell backpack that I had wanted for our first christmas together. Those two are tied.


I think the best gift I ever bought HIM was surprised ComiCon 2012 tickets for our one year anniversary. It fell on ouranniversary and he wasn't able to get tickets because he had just had to pay to get his car fixed. So I splurged and bought them for us :) It was my first time and it was a lot of fun. Plus I got to spend my anniversary with not only the love of my life... but the cast of The Walking Dead and the some of the cast from Firefly.

I think the best gifts I ever gave FH was yesterday's gifts. He thought we were staying mellow and I had all the surprise gifts with me. All he kept saying was BABE WOW OMG WOW this is awesome. Lol. I bought him light up pliers for work and wrenches and then the couple massage and dinner but dinner was a gift to us. Lol. Apparently I'm good at picking tools though cause the one plier I got he almost bought this week and the one wrench I bought him last vday apparently all the guys on the job site tell him wow thank your girl for buying that tool for you.

The best gift he ever got me was my promise ring and also tickets to see my ultimate favorite Bon Jovi.

OMG we ended up naming our kitten Comet but for two days we were leaving HEAVILY towards Bauer. Something about it just wasn't clicking and I was feeling really disappointed about it because I wanted to name him Bauer so badly, lol.

Hmmm. FH spoils me so there are a bunch of gifts that I love and adore but I would have to say the best gift he ever gave me was a diamond promise ring. It was absolutely beautiful and what he said when he gave it to me was so sweet. AH I love him! The best gift I have given him would probably be his iPad mini.

Best gift I ever got him was tickets to a Rangers/Isles game and the Islanders actually WON! It was a great game actually.

The best thing he got me is the necklace he bought me for V-day this year! It's a bow to match my earrings and bracelet he got me for Christmas

The best gift FH ever gave me was a scrapbook he made me for our one year anniversary. He had put it together by month and had all these old receipts and movie stubs that I had no idea he had kept. He wrote me little notes on each page about things we did and how he felt about me. About a month and half into our relationship he went to Germany with his friends and in the scrap book he drew the world and the plane going over the ocean with a little note that said he knew he loved me when he was on that flight, I tear up just thinking about it!


I just asked FH was his favorite gift that I got him was LOL and he said that it was our one year anniversary gift (funny how its the same year!) when I had a bakery special make his favorite cookies because stella d'oro discontinued them! I must have called 30 bakeries on LI before I found one that would make pfeffernusse cookies in February! Of course right after I had them specially made for him I found them at Trader Joe's LOL

The best gift that FH gave me was my birthday this past year. He is really into photography as a hobby, but I never like any of the pictures he takes (just not my style!) He took a really cool one of a dock by the ocean and I raved about it. So for my birthday he blew it up into a large posterboard for me. But on top of that, he built a frame for the picture too out of reclaimed wood from a 100 year old barn from a job he worked on. The time he spent on it and the fact that he did it all himself makes it priceless to me :)

The best gift I ever gave him was probably either Baltimore Ravens (hes a huge fan) tickets back in 2009 -- the game ended up being the one that confirmed them going to the playoffs. Or this past year for his birthday I got him tickets to see the comedian, Jeff Dunham (his fave), literally on his birthday. But it was a complete surprise. I went to his apartment, he opened the tickets and I said 'yeah, so get in the car, we're going tonight and it's an hour and a half drive'. He had no idea and he loved it!

Best gift I got him was definitely this passed Christmas (and he got me an engagement ring so we were tied!!) I got him a 'beat making' machine for his music that he had only dreamed about bc it's expensive.
