QOTD *2/19/14*

Happy Hump Day!

Today I think it would be nice to talk about our bridal parties. Who do you have in your bridal party? How did you ask them?

For my bridal party, I have my sister, Kara as my Maid of Honor. My Future Sister in Law, Kristy as my Matron of Honor and my best friends Heather, Chrissy & Juliet as my bridesmaids. I asked the girls by giving them pins, personalized wine bottles and a wine glass. FH has his brother Mike as his best man, his brother Bryan, cousin James, my brother bobby and good friend Thom as groomsmen. He gave them all personalized beer bottles and beer mugs. Our Godson Anthony is our ring bearer he will be just about 3 when we get married. He is the cutest! My best friend Juliet’s daughter Ava will be my Flower girl. She will be 2. I got the little ones teddy bears that have personalized t-shirts. So cute. I have an album of some pictures from when we asked them. We asked them all at our engagement party. Everyone was so excited.

QOTD *2/19/14* - Long Island Weddings

For my bridal party I have my cousin as my matron of honor, my sister as my maid of honor, and then my other sister and two good friends as my bridesmaids. I wrote each of them individualized poems asking them to be in my bridal party and for my MOH's I gave them personalized origami owl necklaces. They came out so nice :). FH his brother is the best man and then he has 4 of his good buddies from childhood as his groomsmen. He didn't do anything fancy to ask them. Im still trying to figure out how to ask my flower girl, although FH already blurted it out (It's his 5 year old niece) and my Cousin's son will be my ring bearer he is also 5.

QOTD *2/19/14* - Long Island Weddings

Both of my sisters will be maids of honor, 2 of my childhood friends and FHs sister and cousin will be bridesmaids. I had personalized cards made up through greetingcarduniverse.com....FHs cousin and roommate from college will be his best men and 2 friends from work will be groomsmen. He just called and asked them lol, nothing special...we don't have a ring bearer but we have 3 flower girls who are sisters.

Matron of honor: one of my best friends since elementary school
Maid if honor: my other best friend from elementary school
Bridesmaid: 3 good friends and fh step sister
Jr bridesmaid: my god daughter
Flower girl & ring bearer: is our bridesmaid abd groomsmen's 6 year old twins
I have no siblings can u tell lol

I have a photo in my album I wanted to be funny.so I got them cards off etsy that had a bride scratching her head starring at the toilet....when u open it it says 'will you be my bridesmaid, maid of honor and so on' then I hand wrote 'so I heard I'll need someone to hold my dress while I pee' lol then it says will u me my bridesmaid lmao

For my god daughter bc she loves puzzles and she is 10 fh took a pic of me abd her and photoshopped 'will you be my jr bridesmaid' on it, printers it it abd glued it to a 12 piece puzzle from the dollar store and cut the pieces out. I have it to her abd made her put it together! It was so cute she was so excited! She has arrays been a flower girl!

I asked my fg if she would like to erase a pretty dress like me on my wedding day. Lol she just about to turn when I asked, she didn't know what a flower girl does l so I said u get to mage a mess and throw flower pedals lmao..... I hope she doesn't remember I said that bc the church didn't allow her to toss pedals!!!

MOH my best friend of 23 years
Bridesmaids: FSIL, my 2 cousins and a good friend of mine
Junior Bridesmaid: A girl who is like my litter sister
Flower girl: FSIL's daughter

I asked each of them in person doing different things.

My bridal party is my sister as the MOH, and two of my cousins and my god-daughter as the bridesmaids and my step-daughter to-be and my niece to-be as jr bridesmaids...

I just asked them all verbally and the was introduced to this website and all of the cute ways I should've asked them... slight regret I didn't think more into it
