QOTD 2.28.14
Happy Friday!
I absolutely love to cook, and I truly enjoy it. I usually cook at least 4-5 times a week depending on my schedule. A few months ago I had such a bad day at work and really just wanted to go home lay on the couch and drink wine LOL.
I get home, and my FH is cooking chicken, veggies and Mac and cheese. I thought to myself, what a guy, he never ever cooks, (doesn't really know how) but he's trying to me. I walk over to check on everything and after the Mac and cheese was cooked he put the cheese and butter in but didn't add the milk, and the Mac part was so hard and sticky. I thanked him and still ate the Mac and cheese because he did try to hard!
My question of the day is, can your guy boil water, or does he cook full out meals?

My FH can cook!! He makes full blown meals all the time and he really loves it! We tend to take turns in the kitchen, or cook side by side! Its so fun :)

My guy is definitely the cook, he is such a natural, he usually cooks the main dish and I do the sides...veggies, salads, etc. There are a few things that I can cook well, but I absolutely like it better when he cooks lol

I am the cook and I love it too, but FH can cook and likes to but I'm a control freak in the kitchen so I'm always like you didn't add this you should do it that way, so now he only cooks dinner if he's off from work and I'm not

I love to cook! I usually try a new recipe at least once a week and cook about 3x a week. Once we move in, I'm sure I'll be cooking every night.FH likes to cook too, but not as much as I do. His favorite dinner to make is steak and mashed potatoes. He has recently been really excited to try and make homemade pasta with the kitchen aid mixer we got from the shower.

I do most of the cooking but I don't think I am that good at it yet. My FH is a pretty descent cook when it comes to certain things. His specialty is taco night lol.

he can't cook at all! lol... I do all of the cooking pretty much. He's amazing at grilling though. So in the summers, he's in charge of the steaks, burgers, hot dogs, etc. It's a nice balance :)

I love to cook. I cook every night! I love to make up and try new things. Sometimes FH gets a little too comfortable and is like, what's for dinner woman? He's joking and I'm like, idk man, what did you make?I get worried when I go away for the weekend sometimes. I'm like, will you live? What will you eat? I make sure there's plenty of coldcuts and cereal!

FH cooks but we are on two different schedules! Like I come home from work at 6 and start dinner. He likes to come home, sit on the couch, have a beer, watch some tv AND thennnn he decides that he's hungry!!! So I just cook because I hate eating dinner at 8! Maybe that's his way of getting out of cooking????

He can cook if he tried and he probably has like once or twice in the 6 years I've known him, haha. He comes from an Italian family and his mom spoils us. So we usually eat by them. The early days of marriage will be like one big cooking lesson for us

My FH is definitely top chef in our house. Since he works from home 3 out of 5 days a week, he always has dinner on the table for me when i walk through the door. So thankful he's handy in the house and in the kitchen!

We both cook, but he does most of the cooking. He works nights so he usually cooks dinner after he wakes up in the afternoon and we eat together before he leaves. On the weekends I will usually cook dinner, but he likes to make me breakfast when he gets home from work.

I love to cook and bake as well but have been slacking these past few months. FH enjoys it as well but doesn't have much time due to his internship. Once he's done and we live together we'll be back to cooking bliss

I am generally the cook, but I am not a huge fan of cooking. I am anosmic (I have no sense of smell) so I am always afraid of over/under seasoning things! FH has a few recipes that he is known for (curry carrot soup, carbonara, oreo truffles) and can cook, but he also doesn't like to.
