Happy Friday!!!

What has been the best relationship/marriage advice that someone has given to you?

The best advice I have heard was...

People are who they are, don't think they will change for you or anyone else. Never go into a relationship thinking you will be able to change a person to better fit your wants or needs. When you fall in love, you are falling in love with the good and bad. Its never going to be easy, and relationships and marriages are a lot of work and at times will be hard, but in the end all the work that was put into it and all the hard times will be worth it.

Oh, and... Never go to bed angry!

'If there's any question in your mind if it's right, it's not.' While FH and I were apart for a while (a year long break in our almost 12 year relationship), I was in a LTR with another guy and nothing about it felt right. This was the best advice i was ever given and led me straight back to FH :)

I too got the 'never go to bed angry' and it's true! Lol

I work in a nursing/rehab center and we have some husband/wife couples there and I always as them whats the secret? They all seem to say don't stress the small stuff... always say I love you... communicate... never go to bed angry and always kiss goodnight.

The best piece of advice i've been given is to keep your sense of humor. I heard this especially comes in handy once kids come into the picture lol.

I've also heard the don't go to bed angry advice too!
