What are your plans for this snow day?We are completely snowed in. We live in Selden and can't even open our front door. I love the snow so I don't mind this at all. We plan on just watching movies all day in front of our fireplace and enjoying each other's company.

Well my dad just had surgery two weeks ago so I spent the morning shoveling. My neighbor did help a bit with his snow blower thank god!! FH is at work of course, so I plan on cleaning and relaxing all day until 7, then I can watch the Islanders game. Nothing exciting. Just praying I dont eat everything in site. I'm trying to keep myself busy!

FH is out snow blowing our property...I pulled a muscle in my back lifting a bucket of water! Wahhhhhh I feel so bad not being able to help him. I have a roast beef in the oven to make sandwiches for lunch and I'm HOPING to watch a movie snuggled up on the couch later!

FH and I live in queens so we didn't get it to bad. Hoping to just relax and then shovel and then meet up with each other and have a huge snowball fight and then hot chocolate/junk food/ movie night after.

FH and I live in Suffolk and got somewhere between 27-29 inches, all the reports are different! I'm home with the puppy but FH is at work. He's a first responder and HAS to be there. Our street hasn't even been plowed yet so he had to walk to a main road and a coworker of his came to pick him up! It's crazy out there.Stay safe everyone!

My mom lives in Centereach, there and Selden got the worst of it I heard! She keeps sending me videos of my Great Danes running around in the snow, it's SO cute! They love it.

My nails used to be gross!! I use a base coat of Nailtiques formula 2plus. Its expensive (10bucks for a little bottle...) but it works!!! I also do them myself. I feel like whenever I'd get them done at a place... my nails would break and split. So I just take care of them myself. It took about a month of using the nailtiques every 3 days or so to get them healthy. Now I alternate between the base coat of nailtiques and Essie Grow Stronger :)

When I first got the ring, I went for a manicure b/c they were GROSSSSS....Then I went again 2 weeks later...then I just file them down myself and paint them...i find myself biting them less when I have paint on them...and I do allow myself to trim them with my teeth, i know its narsty, but it eases some anxiety! lol

So funny, I made a comment last night (when we went to the bar, bc who doesn't wanna walk to and home from the bar in a blizzard?! lol) that I am never going to lose weight if we keep getting stuck in these natural disasters!

I plan to relax, I was lucky enough to have my restaurant close last night for dinner, but I still did a ton of stuff after I got home from the bar. I'll probably end up cleaning the apartment and shoveling my car out in preparation of tomorrow, but I'm not driving anywhere today.
