Last night, I made Sunday Dinner for the first time in a long time. We normally invite friends and/or family over, but it was just FH, Grandma and myself. I made one of FH’s favorite meals – Spanish Yellow Rice and Empanadas.
Our question of the day is:
Who does the cooking in your home? Is it you? Is it FH? Do you enjoy cooking?
FH and I share the cooking responsibilities. We take turns cooking and whoever cooks doesn’t have to clean. Or we cook dinner together, which is one of my favorite things to do together. There’s nothing like a sexy man who can cook and thankfully FH is a great cook! I also enjoy to cook. I love trying new recipes and seeing my friends and family enjoy a great dinner together.
I must confess…I only like cooking for a group of people. I tend to be lazy when it’s just for FH and I. If there’s cold cuts in the house, FH and I will have soup and sandwiches for dinner. It’s a good thing that he doesn’t mind.

FH cant cook to save his life lol so therefore I am the cook in the house. I dont LOVE to cook but I dont hate it either. I do like when I cook and everyone really enjoys what they are eating. Makes me happy. Since FH doesnt cook he does the dishes which he jokingly complains about. I tell him all fhe time to learn to cook and Ill happily do the dishes!
Before FH came along and it was just me I def didnt cook so much. Id be fine eating a bowl of cereal or a sandwich or something. I def didnt have to go food shopping as much lol I now cook a few times a wk. When I dont cook we either order out or just find something quick in the house to make.
Last night I made spanish yellow rice also with corn, pork chops and tostones (fried green plantains). 1 of FH favs.. he loves pork chops! Lol

I do the cooking in the house. FH will BBQ during the summer and he always cleans up after dinner. I'm Italian, so I love homemade food and cooking. FH is so easy though, he will eat just about anything and not complain.

I do it, but FH can cook.
FH loves my cooking so at least after a long day at work and time in the kitchen he appreciates it.

FH mainly does the cooking. I try to cook here and there, but the kitchen has become his baby so sometimes he doesnt let me! I am very grateful that FH can cook

I love to cook but our work schedule are so crazy that there is maybe one night a week that we are both home before 10pm. maybe.
he is the best griller (obv he is a guy) i love the kitchen, but our place is so small now that its hard to do a nice spread in a confined space
uggh this just made me want a new house more and more!

Ohhh when we make dinner at one of our houses.... while we both contribute, my fiance' definitely is the cook! I have no idea what I'm doing... although I did make him *A* dinner ( ) about a year ago & it was awesome & actually came out good! I am usually the baker--I enjoy making desserts more than the actual meal.
Also, my fiance' is a vegetarian, so he always jokes that I will be one by default because he is the cook between the 2 of us, although he has grilled chicken & hamburgers for me, surprisingly.

Wendy's does the cooking But occassionaly I'll cook something which means FH has to do the dishes.

I cook, bake and grill. FH can cook a mean lasagna and he can make rice and psta with meat sauce but I do everything mostly. I love it so I don't mind. I bake at least 3 times a week. He must have dessert and coffee every single night. Tonight I will banana nut bread. FH and my son love it. It will last a few days and then I'll make a cake or muffins or something to tide them over a few days. LOL I love it though. I am the grill master at home and come mid march/beg of April I start to grill mostly and just make side dishes or a salad inside.

I do all the cooking and when I dont feel like cooking theres always cereal or pizza LOL!!!
I love cooking and baking. I do enjoy it. Just one thing I need in my Kitchen- I need a TV!!! I hate cooking and not watching TV.

Im starting to learn how to cook. I hate it! It's not fun and I'm not good. FH is a fireman and they cook everyday. He is great at it and doesnt mind it. He makes a really great housewife

Since I still live at home my mom cooks a couple of times a week. I also cook sometimes. FH and I have been together for almost 5 1/2 years and he has never cooked. I wonder if he even knows how to boil water. I have to say I've spolied him . I always bring him food at work and at home so he has never had to cook. One good thing he is not too picky (me on the other had, that's a different story). When we get married we'll be living together and hopefully he'll be able to show me his skills. He says he can cook.

FH loves tostones! I haven't made them in a long time. I will have to add them to the grocery list.

I need background noise when I cook or clean. I normally always have a radio playing somewhere in the house.

I mostly do the cooking. Once in a while he will make something and its mostly something with rice. He is obsessed with rice. We have 3 different types of rice in our pantry as of right now. Hahahaha. Tomorrow night the slow cooker will Be cooking the dinner. I freaking love that thing! Haha.

Congrats on being the new BOTW Erika!!!
Altho it isn't often, I'm the cook in the house. We still live at his mom's house with a few other people and everyone is on different schedules so I usually dont cook unless everyone is gonna be home. I'm always willing to try new recipes and see how they work out - so far there havent been any terrible ones!
FH claims he can cook (& that he has a famous Chicken Parm & angel hair pasta dish), altho I have yet to see the fruits of that labor lol.
I enjoy cooking as long as I have the TV or radio on to listen to a show or music.
