Happy Hump Day

Our question of the day is.............

1.What is your greatest fear?

and for wedding related

2. When it comes to your wedding are you an everything has to be right kinda person or do you just go with the flow?


1.My greatest fear is not being able to have kids. I've seen the struggles others have had to conceive and I get so worried that might be us. And then if we do have kids I worry if I'd be a good mom.

2.When it comes to the wedding I feel like as long as the priest gets my name right and it's a lovely ceremony then everything else could just fall apart. I didn't take all those years of religion classes not to get married in a church and for it not to be perfect

1) Losing FH. I feel so close to and happy with him and plus, I watch too many episodes of 'The First 48' and Oprah. LOL Death doesn't scare me but losing the ones I love haunts me all the time! I feel anxiety if I forgot to kiss him goodbye or something.. It's kinda sick! But it is def my greatest fear!!!!!!

2)I am a 'everything has to be right' kinda person but I'm trying to let go because I refuse to be super stressed! When I had my sweet 16, I cried on the day of because I was running late.. totally ruined my morning! Exactly why I booked Cheeky Glam!

My greatest fear is losing people I care about suddenly. My other fear which is not being able to get a teaching job.

When it comes to the wedding I want everything to go right. But I think the day of I will be so wrapped up in the moment unless something tragic happens I probably won't realize.

My greatest fear is also death and losing those that I love especially my mother. I can't imagine my life without her.

When it comes to my wedding I want everything to go right and as planned. I want our family and friends to be there to celebrate our love and have a great time.

I also fear losing my loved ones too soon or in a tragic way. Especially since I lost my brother when I was 11, he was 17. He was murdered and all these years later I miss him like crazy.

I also fear being raped or being killed and suffering a horrible death. I watch the news, or watch shows or hear about the horrible things that happen to woman and its so disturbing and sad and also makes me angry that their are ppl in this world who do such horrible things.

As far as the wedding goes I of course want everything to go perfectly. Another reason I hired my DOCs. I know there might be some minor things to go wrong that day though but as long as none of our vendors screw up in major ways Ill be ok. We are paying too much $$ for that to happen. I dont want to have to flip out and have the ghetto come out of me that day!

My greatest fear is also losing a close one suddenly. FH brother had an anuerysm 2 years ago and died in minutes, he was 35 and had a wife and son, she is not coping well and I think i would be the same.
2. I would hope that everything goes well on our wedding day, especially since I know myself and if it doesnt bridezilla may rear her ugly head (that is my wedding fear)

Crazy stuff like this runs through my head to at times also. So you arent the only 1.

Greatest fear is losing a loved one. I can't even begin to fathom how much it would hurt.

2. When it comes to your wedding are you an everything has to be right kinda person or do you just go with the flow?

I am a everything has to be right kinda person, BUT for the sake of the wedding, my bridal party, and my sanity.. I am going to try and go with the flow on the day of the wedding. Whatever happens, happens.

Obviously death of a loved one. I would also say failure.

I'm definitely a perfectionist and I put a lot of unnecessary stress on myself because of this. But, I think that the day of my wedding I will be able to let any sort of mishaps go. I won't let anyone or anything ruin that day for me.

Other than the obvious (death, infertility, loss of loved one) my greatest fear is CLOWNS! It's ok ladies, you can laugh it up. Ask my students and they will start laughing and say Ms. L is afraid of clowns!

I've come to the conclusion that not everything will go 'perfectly'. I just want nothing major to go wrong - little things I can handle!

That's FH's biggest fear! you're not alone lol

My biggest fear is losing my parents

As for the wedding, I'm not going to make sure every single little detail is perfect as long as I'm married at the end of the day.

My greatest fear -

Losing a loved one, especially slowly and painfully.



As for my wedding -

I'm a perfectionist type where everything has to be just so. I also get really anxious about it - so I can already see myself not going brideszilla but becoming really stressed and melting down crying, overemotional.

This is why I've decided it's probably best I start looking for a DOC.

If I can draft a handbook - with all the people involved, all the phone numbers, a set timeline agreed upon by all people of importance and give her a copy (or two) of it... then I know I'll be okay. For some weird reason I trust people when I give them directions (even if they can't follow them or choose not to).

My biggest fear is death and death of my loved ones.

I'm a little bit of both in regards to perfection and going with the flow. I definitely want every thing to go as planned, but I know things like weather etc are not in MY control. So whatever happens, happens.... as long as it's not a BIG thing! haha

My students ALWAYS bring it up when talking about writing or reading something scary!

my biggest fear is not being able to have kids... i have soooo many friends who have had issues getting pregnant. in FHs firehouse alone there are at least 10- wives that had major conceiveing issues. so far so good w everyting down there but its just scary as i get older that it wont happen


and of course loosing FH (espcially in his line of work) i always think about in ladder 49 when she talks about the red car pulling up to the house, I dread the phone call from the firehouse (i tell FH DONT call me from that line it freaks me out!)

Im really on top of everything to make sure everything will go smooth LOL..but i know the day of im just going to go with the flow of things b/c at the point i dont think i will really care

And some of my friends said i will be a bridezilla ..and i laugh at them b/c i dont want to act like that and i want to have fun and not let things get to me

My greatest fears are def infertility and losing a loved one. But my other two, which maybe kinda weird, are lollipops and steel grates in the street. Both have tried to kill me!

I think that by the time the day comes, i will be so over planning, that im just gonna go with the flow. Well i HOPE this is how I am.

My greatest fear is losing a loved one. I am also scared of getting into a bad car accident.

At first, I thought I was going to be the go with the flow type. Now that I see how much thought and work goes into planning a wedding I want everything to go perfectly. I alreay told my bridesmaids that I mikght get worked up if something goes wrong. LOL I know my best friend will keep me calm though.
