*QOTD 3/14/13*

Happy Pi day ladies!
So I would have posted this earlier in the day, but I seriously just got locked in an exam room with a patient for over half an hour. I simply turned to open the door after asking her how her condition was, and it didn't open. It took a whole office of women, bodies trying to knock down doors, various dermatological tools and credit cards to try and get us out of this room. I swear I can't make this crap up! I almost broke down crying because it was SO hot and I felt like we would never get out.

So, this made me think of my Question of the Day..

What is the absolute most absurd/embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?

I know we all have a story--I want to hear yours!

One of the most embarrassing things happened many, many years ago. I was on a plane and went to the bathroom, came out and am walking down the aisle only to notice I am literally dragging the entire roll of toilet paper behind me!! Literally was the whole length of the aisle..Oh my- It was SOOOO embarrassing.

I have many embarrassing moments but I tell this story most often.
I have one chin hair that grows in really dark. I didn't know that though until it was printed out to me. By my cousin Jonathan on a very long line for splash mountain in Disney world. On the top of his lungs he yelled 'omg look at that chin hair' then as I was trying unsuccessfully to pull it out he yelled 'what are you stroking it' ugh so embarrassing.

When I was in college, I was walking into a 400 person lecture hall and was 5 minutes late. I thought no one would notice until I tripped down the stairs in the aisle!!! Everyone turned around and stared and my professor asked me if I had tied my shoes together that morning. The worst part was, it was those very deep steps that they have in lecture halls and movie theaters. You'd have to literally TRY to recreate my fall!!!

Hahaha what a great question. I would have totally been having a panic attack if I was locked in a room with someone.

I embaress myself a lot so it's hard to think of just one moment.

But I do remember one time that I was at the beach when I was younger. I was getting ready to lay my towel on the sand and as I shook it out, a pair of my granny panties came flying out and landed on someone elses blanket. They were clean but just the fact that my underwear was making a surprise appearance at the beach made me we want to crawl under a rock.

When I was in high school, I was on a coach bus on the way to a band competition and I got locked in the tiny bathroom. I tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge. I totally panicked and started pounding on the door and screamed for help. Some of the hot senior guys sitting by the bathroom had to tell me that I needed to pull the door towards me as I turned the knob. When I got the door open, the guys were laughing at me and I just wanted to jump out the window!

I have MANY embarrassing stories but this one always manages to make me still turn bright red. So I was sitting in my bosses office going over some things I had my legs crossed I was wearing a dress and tights. So when I went to get up to leave my leg had fallen asleep so I fell. I mean I like went down and then could not stand up my leg had like no feeling in it. My boss had no idea how to react except for omg are you ok. I tried so hard to brush it off and was like yeah I am fine just leg fell asleep. So as I just continued to sit there cause my leg was still asleep in a dress my co-workers office was next to my bosses and can see me sitting in the hall. 'Goes ummm did you have a liquid lunch or something.' At that point I was beyond embarrassed trying using the wall to get up and fell some more. I managed to eventualy get up but hid for a while cause I was absolutely mortified.

OMG maybe I blocked this out of my mind, but the EXACT same thing happened to me, also pointed out by my cousin, but it was at a wedding and he yelled it just as the music was getting lower. Everyone heard it!!

I usually take embarrassing moments in stride. I don't untag weird looking photos of me on fb, or blush when people are telling funny stories about me. But these stories are SOOOOO embarrassing!!! Lol

omg I'm cracking up!

I went to see a free Beach Boys concert at Coney Island two summers ago. I HATE using port a potties, but I really had to pee! I told my friend to text me if John Stamos made an appearance

While in the port a potty, it sounded like someone was trying to open the door. I went to reach the door handle to pull the door toward me, but it was too late. The door flung open and a guy was standing there, with tons of people behind him. There I was, pants down to my ankles. I hit the guy before pulling the door shut!

Good news....I didn't miss John Stamos!

Re: *QOTD 3/14/13*

OMG I'm loving these

Lori0413 might remember mine...

I was going to my then-boyfriend's high school prom. I was piled in an SUV limo with him and his friends and their dates. I had on this big white tulle prom dress. I'm sitting closets to the door, so when we pull up to the prom I'm the first one to get out. Well, the door opens and I step on the back on my dress and fall out of limo flat on my @$$! My bag goes flying somewhere and one of my nail tips (like the acrylic kind) pops off! To make matters worse it was raining so the guy holding the umbrella had to help me up! Where was my boyfriend you ask? He was so embarrassed he started walking away from me! Any surprise we didn't make it for the long haul?

I can't really pinpoint any particular story, probably because I've literally blocked them from memory but I do have a reoccurring problem in my life... I have absolutely no problem keeping secrets. I can keep thing on lockdown for years. But if you don't explicitly tell me that something is a secret, I will inevitably ruin it for you.

I've ruined countless surprise parties with a simple 'Can't wait to see you on Saturday!' ... 'What's happening Saturday?' 'FML.'

The worst was probably when I ruined my FH's grandmothers surprise 70th birthday party. We had only been together for 6 months and we were all staying in Maine (where she lives) and I found myself alone in the kitchen with her. I didn't really know what to say because I didn't know her that well so I said 'I'm looking forward to the BBQ tomorrow, it should be fun!' and she replied 'What BBQ?'. I felt so stupid I wanted to curl up and die. UGH just thinking about it makes me feel like a total DB.

edited for spelling!

LOL I don't use portapotties unless absolutely necessary, and last summer, I was at a Dave Matthews Band concert with my friends. I had to use one that was almost overflowed. I did that thing where you squat and lean forward, but I guess I didn't do it right, because I managed to get pee ALL down my leg. Luckily, I was wearing a dress and my friends and I come to concerts overly prepared and had baby wipes and disinfectant which I slathered up and down my legs and all over my hands and feet (it was the summer at an outdoor venue). But it was SOOOOOO gross.

I'm glad we can laugh at these stories now, bc it sure as heck wasn't funny while it was happening!!!

Portapotties always have the best stories :p

It's always embarrassing for me when my stomach makes really loud noises in public. Which seems to happen often, especially while in class.

My story is a little TMI bathroom story.. We have two bathrooms at the salon, one of which we just made employees only.. I recently went to the bathroom and it wouldn't go down.. But I do t mean it was clogged I mean it was too hard to go down.. So when I opened the bathroom door I walked away and left it like nothing happened..
About five minutes later another employee told me not to use the employee bathroom. Whoops!

My entire life is pretty much one big embarrassing story because I'm a clutz. So ... I'm constantly tripping UP stairs and falling over or bumping into things.

But... I think the one that scarred me for the longest was when I was in 6th grade and I was in chorus and I was wearing a skirt... I fell off the chair and my skirt flipped up and everyone saw my undies.
