***QOTD 3.2.13***

My biggest disappointment would be my mother's lack of enthusiasm about the wedding and engagement. I always dreamed of having my mother by my side excited about things, but she does not seem that way. Every time I bring up wedding talk, she changes the subject and it really disappoints me. I am hoping when the time comes closer, she will get more excited. Thankfully my FMIL is super excited for us and is always up for wedding talk!
I am also disappointed because I tried on my dress that I bought again and it doesn't fit :( I must of gained a few pounds since November. Gotta get back to the gym! LOL

My two biggest disappointments go hand-in-hand. First, I am disappointed we did not have an engagement party. Second, I am disappointed in the lack of excitement from family members (which I think is why there was no E-party). We chose to have a 3 year engagement to allow us to finish school, look for jobs, and make some money before the big day. However, life happens in 3 years, A LOT of life, so I am left on the back burner wondering when my 'future bride' time starts. Everytime we visit family we tell them we booked another vendor and they either seem not to care, look at us like we are crazy, or can't believe the cost of it.

I just KNOW it will be maybe 6-4 months before the wedding and someone will say oh my god its so soon, where did all the time go? And I will be grumpy bc I have very patiently watched the time go by, just me and FH getting excited.

My biggest disappoint is something that happened long before I even thought of getting married. Its definitely not having my dad here for the planning and knowing he won't be walking me down the aisle. I obviously knew for a long time that it wasn't going to happen since he passed away when I was 8 but now that I'm actually planning the wedding it's starting to hit me

I'm so sorry, I know how you feel. My father passed away in 2011. It gets me upset when I think he won't be there to walk me down the aisle.

I think my biggest disappointment as some other girls have said is the lack of excitement .. Like everyone is definitely excited but it doesn't seem to be as big of a deal as I always feel like it is when someone I know gets engaged!

Mine is definitely a 20 month engagement! I wanted summer and I couldnt pull it off in 6 months so I had to wait with the timing!! I am so anxious for it to be here already but I want to enjoy all the things leading up!!
