Boo my last question of the day!Fh was laughing at me because I bought this giant book on wedding planning and read the whole thing. He said well you've been in weddings before so I figured you'd know. But being in a wedding and planning your own are different.
Anyway today's question is have you and Fh been in any weddings? And if so how many.
Side question. Have you worn any of the dresses of the weddings you've been a second time?

I have been in plenty of weddings... mostly as a flower girl and most recently my best friends in 2010 as a BM. I did NOT wear ANY of my dresses EVER again!I'm also going to be in a wedding in Sept. 2014.... and the way its going I probably won't wear that dress again either. She wants red dresses and redheads don't look good in red.

Fh has been in two wedings. He was his friends groomsman in 2010, and last year he was one of 3 best men for another friend.I have been in 5 weddings.
The first was when I was 16. I was a bridesmaid in my uncles wedding.
In 2009 I was a bridesmaid for one of my bridesmaids.
In 2010 I was my sister in laws maid of honor when she married my brother.
And in 2011 I was a bridesmaid twice for my friend and my cousin.
I actually try to always wear the dresses again. I'm paying for it so I figure I should.
In 2009 my cousin got married a month after my friend so I wore that dress again.
I didn't wear the dress from my brothers wedding again but when my sister in law needed a dress for my cousins wedding I gave it to her to wear lol.
And the best was in 2012 I wore the same dress for both weddings.
My cousin needed to plan his wedding quickly because he was being deployed to Afghanistan so the bride decided on that dress since she liked it and two of us already had it from the other wedding we were in.

FH and I were in a wedding together. It was his sister's wedding about a year and a half ago. I was a BM and he was a GM. I haven't worn the dress again - it's a long malibu blue (david's bridal color) and has a small train. Idk where to wear a long bright blue gown lol...it looked nice the day of though! When I clean out my closet, I'm thinking of donating it as a prom dress or something.

I've only been in one wedding, and it was during my freshman year of college. It was my cousins wedding, and I really didnt do much besides wear the dress she picked out. Lol. Looking back, I feel kind of bad. We weren't that close and I was 9 hours away, so I couldn't do much to help her.I didnt wear the dress again, but not because I didn't like it. It was a long gown and I had nowhere to wear it to, an by the time I did, it was too small on me.

I've only been in one wedding and FH has never been in one before so he has no clue how everything works. It was my cousin's wedding in Florida. I didn't do much to help her either because we were so far away from each other, but she understood and was happy with just having me has a BM by her side. I did not wear the dress again, although I had every intention of it because I loved the dress so much.

I've been in two weddings, FH has been in one. I have never worn the dresses again. They have been just sitting in my closet taking up room. I'm hoping I can find dresses for my girls that they can wear again.

In about 8 weeks, I'll be in my first wedding as MOH for my brother's wedding. I LOVEEEEEEEE my dress but can't imagine ever being able to wear it again.
FH has been in several weddings! 2007, 2008, two in 2009, and 2011. We think the last one for him will be his younger sister's whenever she gets married, but who knows!

Wow so I'm the only one huh? I have three weddings to go to and for two of them I'm probably wearing the last two dresses I wore as a bridesmaid. One of them is long, one is tea length so I'm just going to cut them short.

I was in my dads second wedding, my aunt and uncles wedding, and most recently my cousins wedding. I never wore any of the dresses again though. Most of FHs friends are married and he's been in a lot of weddings. He even stood in as best man for his good friend when the best man didnt show up!

I have been in 2 weddings, one for my aunt when I was very little as a flower girl, and the second as my sisters maid of honor when I was 19.FH has only been in his parents second weddings, but since they were both 2nds they didnt involve the same hoopla most first weddings do--i.e. he knows nothing about centerpieces, showers, registries, tuxedo rentals, and so on.
