I really wanted burgandy and pink as my wedding colors and I love the weather in Sept. Its still warm but not HOT out for the guys in tuxedos. I just hope it doesnt rain
We were thinking of November 09 but our hall was booked and when they said December 11 we were sold because my dads bday is on the 12th. FH and I thought it would be a great way to incorporate his memory into our wedding and because I love Christmas decorations!!
We are getting married on our 5 years anniversary. I originally wanted a christmas wedding, but a lot of family gave us sh*t about it because they said it would be too hectic a month, so one night while driving home from the store we were talking at realized that august 21st was a friday in 2009 and we called up the reception hall the next day and went to book it!
I wanted a summer wedding but didnt want it to be near our bdays in the end of May and I didnt want to be sweltering hot so September was perfect and the weekend before is labor day which I didnt like so I picked the weekend after.
We wanted to get married in Key West and June starts the off season but we didn't want to get to far into hurricane season either so we decided to go with the first week of June.
We wanted the fall, but the place we wanted to get married at only had 2 dates available...so it made our decision easy.
i get really oily in the summer so we went with fall.
