Good morning ladies!!! I'm super excited to ask my questions! I promise I'll have some good ones!1.Who said “I love you” first and how did it happen?
My story is kind of long...
I said it first. I didn’t mean to though. We were dating for about 2 months and it was the day after Christmas. I was living with my friends family at the time and we had a dog Summer. The day after Christmas she was acting a bit weird, but she was old and we thought maybe Christmas had exhausted her or she ate something weird. So I went over to FH’s house that night when my friend texted me and said that Summer is sick and they can’t get her to move and they wanted to bring her to the vet. FH just looked at me and said “I’ll go carry her down the stairs and put her in the car” so we drove a half hour there just so he could do that.. and then a half hour back to his house. I didn’t go to the vet with them because a: I didn’t have my car and b: my friends mom assured me everything was going to be fine. About 20 minutes after we got back to FH’s house... my friend texted me and it wasn’t good. We were going to have to put her to sleep. I immediately started crying and FH offered to take me and the whole nine yards. I said thank you, but this is my family and I’ll be fine. so while I’m hysterically crying he is putting my shoes on for me and helping me get dressed and right before I left he hugged me so tight and so hard and then he kissed my forehead and I just blurted out “I love you”. He responded with this joke “Can a gay person wear a straight jacket?” (I plan on including that joke in my vows BTW) and then he kissed me. Like one of THOSE kisses where you just knew that was the kiss of love. But.. anyway...
He didn’t say “I love you” to me until about 2 months after on valentines day. And OMG what a stressful two months that was! He said he didn’t want to say it fast because it has always screwed up the relationship. I like to tease him now about that because he tells me he loves me all the time :)

He did! And I still make fun of him for how he did it, but it was so cute. We were just laying in his bed in the dark in silence. He simply said 'you know, I don't really like you that much anymore.' I got so upset because I was seriously fallin in love. And he followed it with 'I love you now'. It was super cheesy but melted my damn heart. I remember it was almost difficult for me to say it back because I was caught off guard but it was perfect!

FH said it first on my birthday about 2 1/2 months after our first date. He got me a beautiful heart necklace and he said he wanted to tell me something and he started rambling awkwardly and I was like what are you talking about?? And finally he said 'I'm falling in love with you.' or at least that's what I heard
he claims he said 'I've fallen in love with you.' (I'm partially dead in one ear and I usually don't understand people the first time they say things haha). Anyway, my response was 'I feel the same way' so he always makes fun of me for not saying I love you too and sometimes when I tell him I love him he says 'I feel the same way!!'

I said it first and just like you Katielynn it was an accident. It slipped out in a conversation over the phone no less! Lol. We were having such a great conversation and he cracked a joke that made me laugh and after laughing I said, 'Awww, I love you!' I didn't even mean to say it nor did I mean it in that context at the time, but as much as I tried to back peddle out of it the words came out and looking back at it now, I'm glad that they did because look at where we are now! :)

I did and it was also an accident. We were in a hotel room after my friends wedding and I was laying face first on the bed. I didn't think he heard me because he was headed to the bathroom to brush his teeth. It slipped out and he said what did you say? I tried to cover it up but he heard it and he said I love you too. He always teases me about it.

He did. Ok so we were best friends for about 6 months. So when we started dating, it was obviously a love thing. You don't start dating your best friend just to see what it's like. Well when we became official, it happened to be over a school break when he went away to Florida. We talked every minute that his family would allow. So we would IM and text each other I love you but we agreed not to say it until we saw each other in person bc what we were doing was weird enough. So one night I am at dinner w my family and He calls me and asks me to leave the table. He says I have something very important to tell you. He said I love you.. I know we agreed but it's something I'm feeling and it's stupid not to let you know.
So there you go, it was like 3 days into our official relationship and we hadn't even seen each other in person lol. Ps, the minute we did see each other he ran over to me gave me a big kiss and whispered it in my ear.

He did, about 6 weeks in. He was leaving my house and earlier that evening I had gotten upset about something and we had a long, serious talk. Things were better than ever by the time he left and we were saying goodbye and he said it. I said it back. We had both been wanting to say it for weeks but were afraid to, even though we HAD already been talking about spending the rest of our lives together.

Who said “I love you” first and how did it happen? He did! Aug. 23, 2009, hahha. It was after our first real fight...we spent a week and a half apart, and we had spent the day together and wound up back in bed around 3pm, I can remember the date because we were messing around with my laptop in Photobooth and I have pictures from seconds before he said it. He turned to me and said it, I thought he said 'I want you' so I didn't say anything back because I was confused hahha. I figured it out after a minute. :)

He did....a week into our relationship. I've said it before and I'll say it again - the beginning of our relationship was INTENSE. We fell head over heels for each other right away. We even moved in with each other after dating for only 6 months. It just all fell into place and we let it.

We actually don't remember who said it first!! We were friends/hooking up for a year before we actually started dating, and there was a point that summer where he decided to start dating his ex again, which began a 6 month debacle of us still talking, but never seeing each other bc I refused to see him when he 'ditched me'. He finally realized that he wanted to be with me, and we just started saying it to each other. I always joke with him that I may not have liked it at the time, but his ex made him fall for me.

He lived on LI and I lived on Staten Island at the time and we were driving back from LI and as we were approaching the Verrazano bridge, we were holding hands and I was laying on his shoulder and he said it!! It was such a sweet moment!

I can relate to this so much! FH moved in with me after only 3 months of us being together. Our relationship has been intense in so many ways than one, but in a good way.

awww I love this question. We were dating about a month and we were out with friends he said something funny and it just came out I said I love you it was loud so I didn't think he heard it. cause after I said it I was like oh no said it too soon lol. Later on that night we were home getting ready to go to bed and he just looked at me with this look and said I love you, I knew he meant it and I did too so I said it back. Later on we were talking about the first time we said I love you and it came out that FH did hear me said I love you when it slipped out. He said he wasn't 100% positive that is what I said or if he was just hearing things. He said he had already had wanted to say it but felt the same way I felt that it was too soon.

Well, I said 'I think I'm falling in love with you' first... and then 2 weeks later we 'officially' said it... him first! It was after his first half marathon- I was there to support him and cheer him on! I also made some signs and held them up for him as he ran! He eventually told me that when he used to rub my back he would spell out the words 'I love you' before he said it out loud. So cute I want to barf lol

Awe I love this question! I said it first, 2 months after dating. We were hanging out at his parents house watching TV, and he started to tickle me. I hate being tickled so I threatened him with words he wouldn't want to hear. He said he wasn't afraid of me. So I told him I loved him. I honestly did love him (I fall hard and fast), I just didn't wanna say it first. Well he didn't say it back until a few weeks later on my birthday. He bought me a key heart and told me that I had the key to his heart and that he loved me too. He said that he lived me too when i told him, but he had this plan!Welcome New Vendors
