Location: Lake Tahoe, CA On a dock at the lake
Date: March 12thish 2006
Most memorable: My FH wanted to take me down by the water edge. There were some steps to get down near the lake and they had frozen our with ice so they turned into a slide, and I almost rolled down the 'steps.'

Best Part: FH was too cute.. He couldn't even wait until we could grab something to eat. We drove 6 hours to Tahoe, and he insisted we stop by the Lake before eating. It was like the ring was burning a whole in his pocket! Too cute!

Most memorable:
The whole thing was memorable. I was completely caught off gaurd. I was actually trying to take a nap and really annoyed that he was coming in the bedroom to bother me. Then he pulled the ring box out of pocket and all annoyance went out of my mind.

Location: Mongaup Pond on a camping trip

Date: June 16, 2007

Most memorable aspect: It was my first camping trip and the scenery was beautiful. The sun was shining on the lake and we had canoed over to the dock where he proposed. I will also always remember how he said my full name before asking the big question...and of course, that he got down on one knee like he knew I wanted. It was all so memorable!

Most memorable aspect/Best Part?
The gorgeous moonless night full of stars and the way he took a serious and difficult conversation about a part of his life and turned it into a romantic, perfect proposal.

Most memorable aspect/Best Part? I always said I wanted to get engaged in front of Cinderella's castle in disney world, and after he popped the question find out all my family and friends were there watching. FH couldn't afford to do that, so he had my bestfriends(and MOH) husband who is an artist paint a 6ft painting of the castle and hung it in the trees. I thought I was going there for a BBQ, but he brought me in the back yard and all of our friends and our family were hidden in the back behind bushes and he proposed in front of the painting! It was more then I could have ever dreamed.
