Ahh the weekend is finally here! I am leaving for work soon but hopefully ill get out early so I can relax! It's been a longg week! Today's question is ...

what is the best present (besides your engagemnt ring) that FH gave to you?

On our first Christmas together we finished opening our gifts to each other and he hands me a little box and I open up and it was this beautiful diamond necklace!! I cried when I saw it and its still one of my favorite pieces of jewelry!!

For our first anniversary we had decided not to exchange gifts since we were going to St Lucia and that was our present to each other. But on the day of our anniversary I came home and he had made me a scrap book from our entire first year month by month will all these saved reciepts that I didn't even know he had! He hand wrote letters to me and put them in there. The one about how he knew when he fell in love with me still makes me tear up. I couldn't believe he found the time to do that!

Definitely a hot air balloon ride for my birthday. I said to Fh once that I wanted to go so we went. The way he told me was cute. He tied a balloon to a card and inside the card was a coupon he made for one free ride.

I've been told this years birthday present is the best ever though so that answer may change in about 7 weeks.

FH and I aren't too crazy on gifts.. mostly because we are broke trying to afford a wedding haha but for my second birthday we spent together he threw me a surprise party and bought me all this victorias secret stuff and he opened a CC there and got me one in my name haha. VS shopping sprees anyone?? to this day it's been the best gift because everyone can use some VS sometimes!

Okay. So... FH and I met online and when we were first talking I had mentioned my love of teenage mutant ninja turtles...and that Michelangelo was my favorite (he's the one with the orange eye band thing. Just like a passing comment.

On our second date... he had just been to comic con. He bought me michelangelo gloves.

I know its stupid but it was only our second date and that meant that he was thinking of me and something that I really like... during comic con... only after our first date.


My other favorite present he bought me were these pearl elephant earrings. My birthstone is pearl and I love love love elephants.

This question is so appropriate for me today b/c FH just surprised me last night! He came from from work, told me to close my eyes, and handed me a Michael Kors watch! He knows I've been eyeing them forever but couldn't afford it since I'm in grad school. He said he got me the Camille watch because it was meant for me (my name is Camille lol) and as a 'just b/c I love you' gift. Sorry for the extra mushiness today but I'm still staring at it from last night!

I lucked out with FH. He's so sweet and really thoughtful with gifts :)

FH gave me a scrapbook a few years ago filled with pictures of us from when we started dating up until that point. He had also saved all the ticket stubs from the places we went to during our relationship. He even put a ticket stub from the comedy club we went to after prom when we liked each other but weren't official yet! When he gave it to me, he said he wants to fill the rest of the book with me and we have been ever since.

I have to be honest, FH does not have the gene for picking out good gifts and I know where he gets that from

Anyway, I have to say the best gift he ever gave me was a trip to Mexico for the 30th, but I had to be the one to plan the entire thing...

Luckily I give the BEST gifts and in charge of it during the holidays and birthdays!

FH is not a romantic guy so he isn't one to come up with romantic gift ideas He has bought me a bunch of nice pieces of jewelry that I love. Its easy for him, I love jewelry so when in doubt he buys it lol. The things i love most are 'no reason' gifts!

This past Christmas, FH adopted me a kitten! (Many of you may know this since I'm always talking about him, LOL) I miss having a dog and was badgering him for awhile to let me get one. When he got Comet, he told me that we really can't have a dog right now, but we can take care of a kitten and I deserve it. He is the love of my life and an absolute joy to come home to every day. FH will never ever EVER top this gift.

Awe this is a cute question!

Our first Christmas he got me a Twilight lunch box (team vampire haha), like one of the old school metal ones. On the thermos he wrote 'open me <3'. In side was a beautiful promise ring. It was my favorite gift from him

The best present FH gave me before my engagement ring was a promise ring 6 months into our relationship. It was a gorgeous diamond ring and he said the sweetest thing when he gave it to me.
