I hope everyone is warm on this too cold for April Tuesday!Today's question is:
Whose family is more involved in wedding planning- your's or FH/FW's?
My family (specifically my mom) is super involved and is so excited. FH's family isn't really involved much at all.

Same here. My aunts are super involved and his family isn't at all. I'm hoping his mom gets more interested as we get closer. She thinks I'm nuts for starting so early!

My family is a lot more involved. I think it's because I have 2 sisters and my mom who are involved, FH has 2 brothers and guys really don't get as involved in weddings in general. I'm also a little bit closer with some of my cousins then FH is with his, I have more relatives in my wedding party so that effects how involved they are too.

My mother is slightly more involved because I still live with her and she has great ideas. She's here to help me and plan. I try to make it a point to include FH's family. We let them know of all the decisions we are making and they've come over to do some DIY stuff with mom and I (invitations, etc).

My Family is ALOT more involved then his family with the exception of his awesome sister and cousins who are my bridesmaids. My mom is throwing the shower and is VERY involved.

FW's mother is involved more so far because she sews and because we live closer to her. Also she's done it before 2x (but as a grooms mom). But my mom wants to be involved too and is very helpful with whatever we can involve her in!

My family is more involved in the wedding planning. But FH doesn't have a lot of family members in general. So it's only him and his mom.

My family is more involved. I live at home & talk to my parents about everything, so it's just a given that they would be more involved. At one point-early on, I was including his parents in stuff, but his
mother made a comment about something I spent HOURS making & it really hurt me. So after that I haven't gone out of my way.

My family definitely. FH isn't really involved at all, which is a bit frustrating to a certain extent. I've mentioned some of my ideas to FHs family and have been met with some werid faces and the comment 'are you serious?'

My family is involved. FH's family is not really involved except for FMIL trying to tell us what to do.

My mom and one MOH are the most involved. I think too many cooks in the kitchen spoils the broth, so his is okay with me. FMIL had a little too much involvement in her other sons wedding, which caused problems. She's definitely taking a back seat this time, but has been there for me when I need something.

My mom is very involved, but my FH's mom is fighting to be more involved than she is I think. Oh the drama of planning a wedding...

My family is pretty involved. FH's parents live in NJ, so they are involved where they can be. FBIL is also in NJ and I haven't seen him since Christmas; and FSIL lives about 20 minutes away but I very rarely see her since she works and goes to school.Welcome New Vendors
