**QOTD 4/23/14**

Today's question is about your engagement. Did you know it was coming, or was it a complete surprise? Did he plan something romantic for you? Did he go through hoops to keep his plan a secret from you until he finally popped the question?

Unfortunately I knew my engagement was coming so there was no surprise. We'd talked about it MANY times because we were together 7 yrs before I got the ring. Of course there were good reasons (mostly financial) why it took so long, but patience is not my strong point!

One day in December 2012, a week or two after (he told me) he'd ordered the ring, I was feeling down and I mentioned that I hoped the ring came soon. Apparently he'd just picked the ring up earlier that day but hadn't told me. So he got it out from his drawer, got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. It wasn't how I'd always dreamed it would happen, but it was perfect in its own way :)

You can't expect her to read through two years of QOTDs that's ridiculous. there's only so many questions you can ask, she's new to posting clearly so you can give her a break. I know I don't want to answer the spicy sex questions that I have seen pop up and could care less about what you ladies do in the bedroom.

keep posting stargazer I'm ok with a couple repeat questions.

I was going to say this! Spicing it up could be something even like 'who is someone you are being forced to invite to your wedding and why do you NOT want them there' or 'What kind liquor really gets you going and are you gonna drink it on your wedding day?'

Just something different.


Wow, you mean it isn't hard to come up with different questions? Who knew?

Also no one said anything about sex questions. Just non boring ones.

This drama is really childish, seriously. Here's a thought: you don't like the questions, don't answer them. You want a non-boring question that's never been asked before? Ask it yourself.

Stargazer... Its not YOU specific. We actually have said this a few times before.


KimandAndy who was just BOTW asked some WONDERFUL, insightful, NEW questions. I was not fortunate enough to answer them though due to a tight work schedule lately.

Be original. Its not that hard.

The point is BOTW and Question of the day is something most of us did all last year and 2015 ers are doing now..This whole QOTD thing is old for us now.. We are all at different stages now.some of us married..other ones with in weeks others sending invites.. Im sure if you go back a year ago to the 2013 boards the QOTD and Bride of the week didnt exist at this point.. I would gladly participate though if it wasnt the same questions over and over again

Wow. I bet so many girls are gonna jump at the opportunity to be BOTW week now knowing they are gonna be attacked if they don't ask the right questions! Stargazer volunteered to TRY and do this,no reason to get so nasty and sarcastic. I am new to posting and enjoy reading the answers to these questions! And if you look at the post, lots of other girls said they enjoyed reading the responses as well. This is suppose to be for fun, sheesh.
