Hypothetically, if you weren't with FH and engaged to be married, what do you think your life would be like right now? Basically the same?...in another relationship, living somewhere different, another job?
So, I tend to always think that when people say, if I were to go back in time, I would change this that and the other, that it really may not be and people would probally do the same but lets just say for a minute that I had the knowledge that I had now and then I was to go back before I started dating FH (I know how bad that sounds, lol)...Im extremely happy I made the choice to start dating FH of course, but in all reality I had just gotten out of a long relationship and ideally I would have did a bit of a long distance move to I think Florida. I have no idea where I would be working but most likely looked to get a transfer in my same company. By now, I might be in a relationship of some sort but I dont think I wouldve been for a while. Now trying to get FH to move with me to Florida is something I have worked on too

I think everything would be the same except I would be very antsy and angry that he hadn't proposed yet, haha!

Honestly, I have no idea. FH has been a big part of my life for 9 years. I've tried to picture my life without him, but I just can't. Maybe I would be with someone else, but I have no idea who could ever replace him.

I definitely wouldn't be a teacher without FH. We met when I was a junior in college, and I had NO idea what I wanted to do. He was a teacher and loved it and thought I'd be good at it too. I applied to the NYC Teaching Fellows and here I am!
I also DEFINITELY wouldn't be living in New Jersey...and I don't know if that would be a bad thing--ha! I moved here because FH owns a condo here and it made sense for us. Without him, I'd definitely still be living in Brooklyn!

FH & i discussed this last week. when we met FH was getting ready to graduate high school. luckily he is a procrastinator & didn't apply to any colleges on time. if he would have he would of been going to SUNY Albany or Stoney Brook. then we probably would of dated for the summer & tried to have a long distance relationship, which most likely would have failed. the only reason i didn't go away to school was because we where in a relationship.

if i hadnt started dating fh, i would probably be living in texas right now-i've always wanted to move back..even though ive lived here since i was a year old, ive always felt that texas is home

Ditto. We spent about a year arguing about getting engaged. I'm sure we'd still be arguing about it

Tough Question, I think my life would be pretty different, maybe Id be dating someone else, however I would definitely not have moved to where I live now. I live in Westchester and had my job transfered to Connecticut because FHs job got transfered up here. I think I would be a completely different person as well. I have learned a lot from FH.

I tend to be a trouble maker....well, more like mischief maker. I am without a doubt an imp, with a flare for the silly. If I was not with FH I would still be the same impish me. However, I am so thankful for him. He tries to keep me grounded & in line. At this point in my life a can't be without him.

If I hadn't met FH, I would probably be out on the search for a boyfriend. I had been without being in a serious relationship for a long time, so if I hadn't met FH, I would probably be dating guys to see if I could find my Mr. Right. But thank goodness, I found him and am not letting him go!!1

I would be a party animal! And probably in AA.
I probably would have lived in Italy for a year or something...maybe live in the city, but FH calmed down my party life style.
So to summarize: I'd be broke, in AA and looking like a washed up playboy bunny... great! thank you god for FH

If I hadn't started a relationship with FH at all, I'd probably be in Israel right now. My plan was to NOT get into a relationship, finish school and then go to Israel for 5 or 6 months on an Ulpan (like Hebrew language immersion). I didn't want a boyfriend because I was afraid I wouldn't want to leave him behind lol.
Welllll I met FH who was fully supportive of my plan but I didn't want to move 6,000 miles away from him...we were already 650 miles apart and I knew we had something special. Plus all that stuff in Israel erupted around the time I would have gone.
