So here is my second question of the day. Its sort of a spinoff to yesterday's question. I think sometimes we all get stressed out and worry that things will go wrong when planning our weddings, so lets try to think about the fun part!
What is your favorite part of planning your wedding so far? I know we are all at different stages in our planning so it will be interesting to see what all you girls pick.
For me, it was definitely RH shopping. I loved going to all places, getting tours, and having the BMs tell me the story behind them. For this reason, I looked at about 12 places before I picked the one! (and even booked two places, a story most of you know ) And I loved the feeling of knowing that the place I booked was finally the one! I had no idea about pretty much any places in Long Island to get married before I got engaged, so it really was a learning experience. Now whenever I have friends who get engaged, I can tell them, oh I looked here and here and actually know of the places they are getting married at.
So what about you girls?

Definitely checking out all of the different vendors and seeing what everyone has to offer.
Oh and also getting great deals on BP gifts!

As of right now, my favorite thing is purchasing all the little stuff for our wedding day...Really makes it feel like I am acomplishing something

dress shopping for sure! It was so fun!!!!
Also negotiating with the vendors, I have really become shamless when it comes to haggling. I love it!

My favorite part so far was booking the string quartet because that has literally been THE DREAM since forever to have that. However, I do have a feeling that dress shopping may top it once I get into that!

I'm not sure if I could pick just one. I love everything about planning, lol. I do love researching and booking the different vendors that I know I'm gonna be excited about! But everything from picking the RH to picking my wedding dress has been fun!

mine is flowers. I love flowers and I know what I want and it was so much fun to see how the designer totally picked up on my idea and went with it. but my most favorite is the fact that I can talk about what I want, what my ideas are for everything, and all the vendors I talk to has to listen, cause I'm THE BRIDE! ha! in my regular life I am so not like that, I am more the listening type so this is a refreshing change

Ahh I can't choose on part that is the best! I have been waiting all my life to plan a wedding, I was born to do it lol. I think when I go dress shopping, that will be THE best thing of wedding planning.

probably booking the photobooth...just cause it was the easiest process everrrrrrr!!!! one vendor, reasonable rate, faxed contract. the end. now i just cross my fingers they show up and do a good job. lol.
as most of you probably know, every other process has been a lengthy, seemingly complicated process. but i guess that is how i am when i want to make sure something is the best. hey, it took me 25 years to find FH! hopefully the rest of the wedding planning process is a bit shorter than that tho

ITA with you on the negotiating thing...I'm so much better at it than I thought. I try negotiating everywhere I go now LOL
