So here is my second question of the day. Its sort of a spinoff to yesterday's question. I think sometimes we all get stressed out and worry that things will go wrong when planning our weddings, so lets try to think about the fun part!
What is your favorite part of planning your wedding so far? I know we are all at different stages in our planning so it will be interesting to see what all you girls pick.
For me, it was definitely RH shopping. I loved going to all places, getting tours, and having the BMs tell me the story behind them. For this reason, I looked at about 12 places before I picked the one! (and even booked two places, a story most of you know ) And I loved the feeling of knowing that the place I booked was finally the one! I had no idea about pretty much any places in Long Island to get married before I got engaged, so it really was a learning experience. Now whenever I have friends who get engaged, I can tell them, oh I looked here and here and actually know of the places they are getting married at.
So what about you girls?

i actually love all the parts - except now with the church issues but mostly i love the planning. The most stressful part was the tastings since food is the most important (to me anyway) but im having a blast!

Unlike most girls...I HATED dress shopping!!! But I have loved RH shopping...and booking all of my vendors!

I really loved looking at all the RH's with FH. Each one has their own appeal, except one we visited but I won't name it. I have a feeling if you ask me this question in a couple of weeks when I start dress shopping, my answer most likely will change though!

i enjoy going to meet with all the vendors...and I love the feeling when you find the one (whether its dj, RH, photog, etc) and then book it...its so exciting!!

Woohooo question 2.....
Favorite part of planning has really been all of it. As stressful as it is I feel like it's really become a part of my day to day activity and now the joke is that I'm going to become a consultant after the wedding..... If I had to pick the most funnest.....yes bad grammar I know.....part of planning, so far it would be dress shopping.....:)

So far I loved most everything!!! Definitely looking at halls was lots of fun... we only looked at 6 places but it was cute to watch FH and see his reactions to certain things/places... then I loved picking out my photog and now I'm enjoying picking out the little details... colors, favors, invitations... I think I have ordered about 50 invitations samples!!! Once they all come in I am going to line them up and have a sort of invitations fashion show for FH!!!

i loved meeting with vendors. i dont know what it was but i had so much fun learning about all the stuff and seeing what they had to offer. i enjoyed shopping for rh's as well but we only saw 4. John and i joked about visiting more and pretending we didnt book yet just so we can see more lol

I would say actually looking at different RH's. While it was fun, I also thought that it was stressful as I knew that this would be the first step in planning because money was involved. It was also my favorite because of all the food BM's offer you while speaking about their venue.
oops, almost forgot. Going to showcases and winning prizes, eating food and drinking.

I actually enjoyed RH shopping. We booked our photog/videog, DJ and florist, but RH shopping was just fun. Talking about it and planning it and trying to envision us getting married at different places. That was great.

I have loved that so far FH and I have done everything but dress shopping together. I love the feeling that we get when we just look at each other and know this is our vendor or our place!
