Let's keep this fun!!

What was your FIRST impression of FH? and when was the first time you thought he was 'mister right'?

My first impression of FH was 'wow he's old!' Lol let's keep in mind when I met him I was 16 and he was 20. He was my supervisor at my first job and I thought he was just weird. The whole summer we didn't really speak or hang out. It wasn't until I went away to college and we found each other online, that we became friends. And to be completely honest, he was friend zoned for EIGHT YEARS!!! after dating losers in college and complaining to him every time, he asked me out on a date to a mets game, I immediately thought, so weird dating my best friend.

The moment I knew he was the one, was the weekend we met each other's parents. I was a dancer for several years and dance anywhere, even the car, so yes ladies there was some crazy car dancing on the way to his parents house. he just laughed and said 'I love how you can be yourself around me'. And ladies when he met my mom and despite the language barrier he sat and spoke with her, I knew it!! I looked across the room and said this is the man I'm going to marry.

Aww such a sweet story! FH and I met in 7th grade and dated on an off through middle and high school and freshman year of college. We broke up and I got into another long term serious relationship and just saw everything I didn't want in this guy and I missed FH more and more. I broke up with the loser and FH and I started talking again. Then his brothers girlfriend died in a house fire in Marist and it was like EVERYHING changed.. We just realized how much time we wasted being apart for so long and how precious real love is. We got back together that day and I knew then that he was THE one. =)

My first impression of my FH was I love his smile. I mean c'mon - that freakin dimple is adorable. We actually met online. Majority of my friends were married or in a relationship and I decided to give it a shot. However, he was someone completely opposite of what I would normally date. I think that was the first time I actually looked outside the box and said to myself hmmmmmmmmmmmm. We must have went on 4-5 dates and not once did he try to kiss me. Finally after coming home from his friends engagement party I had to make the first move and I am so glad that I did. I even asked him why he didn't even try to kiss me and he responded because I really like you.
As far as the moment when I knew he was the one, there were several and those several just kept reassuring me not to be afraid and to allow him in. His interaction with his nephew melted my heart, the relationships he has with friends that he has know for years and years, completing our first Tough Mudder together. The list goes on and on. The fact I can be myself with him and he accepts me for all of me means so much to me. He is everything I never knew I always wanted.

I actually knew FH for a while before we started dating. We were friendly would say hi etc, but he is 9 years older than me so he was just Jimmy from the bar (he is the chef/kitchen manager at a Bar/Restaurant that was next store to a theatre I would perform at). It all changed my sophomore year of college when we kissed during Thanksgiving break. At first I thought it was just going to be a one time thing, but he kept talking to me when I went back to school and we officially started dating when I came back for Christmas/Winter break. Once it was official, I started to get the feeling he may be the one - and then when he told me he loved me (first!) I think I knew

I met FH online on OKCupid. I had been doing the online dating thing for a year and half and I was literally telling myself 'I need a break', especially after the guy before FH was giving me mixed signals.

FH messaged me and then I read his profile. He was definitely pretty opposite of me, I really wasn't looking for someone like him; I thought I was going to be with an artsy, creative type who was a bit of a hipster like me lol. But he was cute and sweet (and handsome), so we went on a date about a week later after the messaging.

On our first date, we went to Starbucks and talked for about an hour and half. Then we're saying 'hey, I kind of want to keep going, want to grab dinner?' So we went to dinner and then after dinner, we had our first kiss; I don't normally kiss on the first date. And again we're thinking 'hey I don't want to leave just yet', so we went to a bowling alley nearby. We had an almost 6 hour date, lol.

I don't think I had a specific moment since I felt so comfortable with him from the moment we met. We pretty much called each other gf/bf that week.

I met my FH in high school. First impression was that he was a huge nerd (then again I was too)! I used to copy his AP Calc homework everyday senior year (math wasn't my best subject)! First time we actually hung out was a HS grad party. We both went away to separate colleges the fall after graduation, but we talked a ton and I blew him off for a couple dates while we were home on Christmas break. But he persevered and surprised me by taking a bus to visit me at school for Valentine's day with a Build A Bear teddy bear in a Mets TShirt which sealed the deal and we were dating by spring semester of our freshman year. We did long distance for 4 years of college and I don't wish long distance on anyone, but when you realize you can endure 4 years of once a month visits in a college lifestyle and make it through, stronger than before, you can get through just about anything!

I met my FH at work my first impression was that he was a really nice and cute guy so I figured he had a girlfriend. I had just gotten out of a really stressful long term relationship so I really didn't try talking to him. Then after a couple of weeks of working there a bunch of coworkers went out to the movies and he ended up driving me home and we just clicked. I knew he was the one about 4 months of dating. He was always fun and exciting to be around and we just couldn't get enough of each other. Still Can't. I felt that way for awhile but didn't say anything until one night I got really drunk and started crying hysterically about how in love with him I was. I was really embarrassed the next day but he was really flattered and told me he loved me too just didn't have the courage to tell me.

FH and I first started talking online through MySpace! He saw my profile through the 'people you may know' about 11 years ago now. We were both really young at we met at the mall and I thought he was a dork but he was so sweet! We talked on and off for a few months and then just lost touch. After 4 years, he found me again and we went on our first date to the movies and he was very confident. It was cold out so when I had gone to my car, he gave me a huge hug and wrapped me in his giant sweater. I was so comfortable but also thinking 'Well I guess he isn't very shy' LOL that night I went home and told my mom all about him and about 2 weeks after that my grandfather passed away and he came right over to stay with me and that was when I knew he was the one I would marry =)

Lol I know! I think our date was around 6-6:30 and it just kept going and going... I don't think we gave a crap that it was almost 1am when we left each other :). Then we made more plans to see each other the next day. We pretty much went on dates every night of the week for almost 3 weeks. I think we saw every movie under the sun that was out at the time lol.

ahh FH and I met 10 years ago now.... I thought he was a huge D* Bag. I could not stand him! We worked together at a restaurant, he had a gf I had a bf. The last night I worked before heading back to college he was on. We were chatting in a group of people about college and going away. He mentioned that he transferred to my school. So I gave him my number and told him if he needed anything to give me a call. I knew he wasn't going to call me so there was nothing to really worry about. So a week goes by and now it is the first day of classes. I walk into my class and look at the A hole sitting there. I go over and chat with him. We became very good friends at this point. We still had long distance SO.

Another 3 years go by and we bump into each other at a beer fest. We started chatting that night again so I broke up with my BF that night and FH and I started dating a few weeks later. We dated for a year and a half and then he broke up with me.... 3 days before valentines day.... out of nowhere. I was devastated, and since then I learned he was too. I told him never to speak to me again that he broke my heart. We were apart for 2 years when I got a message from him on facebook for my birthday. We agreed to meet up. That night we spent 4 hours chatting and catching up. I left that night and cried I missed him so much. I knew we were supposed to be together and from that moment on we have been. It's been almost 3 years since we met up that night. And now we are getting married in less than a year!! AHHHH

My exact words to my MOH the night I met FH were 'He's adorable but short'. He left a great impression on me when he called me a day later and we spoke for over 2 hours about anything and everything. I liked how he didn't play the 'wait 3 days' game to call. He played no games from the beginning.
There were 2 moments when I knew he was the 'mister right'. The first was when he met my grandmother for the first time. They sat in her living room and talked like they knew each other for years. It was so comfortable for both of them. The other moment was when he agreed to go to a country concert with my brother and cousin, who he hadn't met yet. I knew he wasn't into country music at all but was still willing to go because he knew I really wanted to.

FH and I actually met at a club lol..I know, unusual! When I first met him I thought he would be like the typical man at the club just wanting to get your number blah blah but FH actually asked me if I wanted to dance and there was just something about him that I really liked. After my friend and I left, I actually told her that there was something different about him that I really liked and I think it'll go somewhere! Sure enough we were dating 1 month later and I just knew he was the one! We've been dating for 7 years!
