What was your FIRST impression of FH? and when was the first time you thought he was 'mister right'?
My first impression of FH was 'wow he's old!' Lol let's keep in mind when I met him I was 16 and he was 20. He was my supervisor at my first job and I thought he was just weird. The whole summer we didn't really speak or hang out. It wasn't until I went away to college and we found each other online, that we became friends. And to be completely honest, he was friend zoned for EIGHT YEARS!!! after dating losers in college and complaining to him every time, he asked me out on a date to a mets game, I immediately thought, so weird dating my best friend.
The moment I knew he was the one, was the weekend we met each other's parents. I was a dancer for several years and dance anywhere, even the car, so yes ladies there was some crazy car dancing on the way to his parents house. he just laughed and said 'I love how you can be yourself around me'. And ladies when he met my mom and despite the language barrier he sat and spoke with her, I knew it!! I looked across the room and said this is the man I'm going to marry.

Funny story.....I met FH through my ex, his friend and a groomsmen in our wedding!!! God like 10years ago maybe a little more I was dating fh friend and a group of us were hanging in a dunkin donuts parking lot. Fh pulled up and got out of his car and I turned to my moh and said omg who is that guy? He's so hot! Lol She informed me he was my bf friend she's meet him before so they were already friendly so she introduced me but I was with my bf at the tone so nothing happened. My ex and I were only together 3 short months, so I made surefh got invited to everything after that. house parties, dinners, dpa or any parking lot we went to lol....I wanted to get to know fh. The more we hung out the more I liked him so I pursued him. After months of taking on AIM and MySpace hanging out I finally landed my guy! 2 yrs into our relationship his mother died from cancer and I remember how much he needed me asked me to be by his side with everything he had to do. And I knew then that he really loved me more then any card or flowers could say. He tells me he didn't know till we adopted our dog 2 years ago!! Lol

My FH works with my neighbor so when I met him she was coming to meet me and brought work people along.He walked in and I said to my friend who is that and is he with them.I did everything possible to make this NOT work...I thought hes hot and way to young. I avoided him for 2-3 weeks after our first hanging out together because I never thought it could work....and here we are lol

My exact words to my MOH the night I met FH were 'He's adorable but short'. He left a great impression on me when he called me a day later and we spoke for over 2 hours about anything and everything. I liked how he didn't play the 'wait 3 days' game to call. He played no games from the beginning. There were 2 moments when I knew he was the 'mister right'. The first was when he met my grandmother for the first time. They sat in her living room and talked like they knew each other for years. It was so comfortable for both of them. The other moment was when he agreed to go to a country concert with my brother and cousin, who he hadn't met yet. I knew he wasn't into country music at all but was still willing to go because he knew I really wanted to.
Yup, I like electronic music and for my birthday last year we went to see my favorite DJ in philadelphia(we weren't engaged yet) and FH hates that music, but after that trip, I knew that ring was coming... Sure enough 8 weeks later lol

FH and I actually met at a club lol..I know, unusual! When I first met him I thought he would be like the typical man at the club just wanting to get your number blah blah but FH actually asked me if I wanted to dance and there was just something about him that I really liked. After my friend and I left, I actually told her that there was something different about him that I really liked and I think it'll go somewhere! Sure enough we were dating 1 month later and I just knew he was the one! We've been dating for 7 years!
This never happens!! You are the luckiest girl!! That's a great story, someone will definitely mention it in a toast, it's a story that RARELY happens.

ahh FH and I met 10 years ago now.... I thought he was a huge D* Bag. I could not stand him! We worked together at a restaurant, he had a gf I had a bf. The last night I worked before heading back to college he was on. We were chatting in a group of people about college and going away. He mentioned that he transferred to my school. So I gave him my number and told him if he needed anything to give me a call. I knew he wasn't going to call me so there was nothing to really worry about. So a week goes by and now it is the first day of classes. I walk into my class and look at the A hole sitting there. I go over and chat with him. We became very good friends at this point. We still had long distance SO.
Another 3 years go by and we bump into each other at a beer fest. We started chatting that night again so I broke up with my BF that night and FH and I started dating a few weeks later. We dated for a year and a half and then he broke up with me.... 3 days before valentines day.... out of nowhere. I was devastated, and since then I learned he was too. I told him never to speak to me again that he broke my heart. We were apart for 2 years when I got a message from him on facebook for my birthday. We agreed to meet up. That night we spent 4 hours chatting and catching up. I left that night and cried I missed him so much. I knew we were supposed to be together and from that moment on we have been. It's been almost 3 years since we met up that night. And now we are getting married in less than a year!! AHHHH
I love your story. It truly encompasses 'when you love someone, let them go'
