QOTD 6/13/13

Today's questions of the day has to do with vacations and honeymoons!

1. Where are some of the places you and your fiance have vacationed?


2. Where are you going or thinking about going on your honeymoon?


1. My FH and I have been to Bahamas and Aruba. Bahamas was with a group of 18 friends (we were 19 years old) so it was a ton of fun but, not really the most intimate lol. Aruba we went this April and it was amazing! We went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary of dating and I had a great time. We have also been to Orlando several times- visiting Disney, Sea World and Discovery Cove. We have been to the Florida keys as well with my family. We went to California for a family wedding and visited Disneyland while we were there. As far as places in a car after 10 years I could go on for a long time, ones that stick out in my head Jersey Shore beach house and Fire Island beach house 3x with family and friends

2. This is going to be my job for the summer. Obviously my dream is BoraBora but, I dont think it's do-able. I am looking into Hawaii (with a stop in Cali), possible Sandals in St. Lucia, Italy or Greece and that's where I will start :)

1. Where are some of the places you and your fiance have vacationed?
FH and I have been to MD and FL. We went for a weekend to MD and we spent a week in FL at my parents house and visited Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, Downtown Disney.


2. Where are you going or thinking about going on your honeymoon?
We are going on a 12 day Southern Caribbean cruise!

We have vacationed in CA, Montreal, and Brazil.

We are thinking maybe Thailand or Bali.

We have vacationed only in the Bahamas and Boston twice.

For our honeymoon we're still up in the air. I love to go somewhere tropical like turks and caicos !

FH and I go on a cruise every year to the carribean, we have been to turks and Caicos, Tortola, Jamaica, Antigua, Grand Cayman,

Honeymoon have no idea, some place with amazing food and a plunge pool in our room!

1. FH will NOT get on a plane. lol So I have vacationed all over the Caribbean, Europe, Bahamas, US virgin islands, etc.
However Together we have only done AC, Disney, MD, Georgia, Maine. And I don't mind the roadtrips so FH and I will probably do a lot more weekend trips after the wedding.

2. For our honeymoon we are doing a cruise (obviously since we can't fly anywhere! haha) out of New York, and we haven't picked which one exactly yet but Some Where tropical! lol

We have a mission to get to every state! We have been to CT, MA, Rhode Island, PA, and Alaska.
We also took a little road trip to Toronto for the weekend and stopped at Niagara on the way.


We booked our honeymoon. We will be going on a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Haiti!

We were in a long distance relationship for so long that so many of our 'vacations' were just visiting each other between NY and DC. Our first non- NY or DC trip was to Hershey Park with his family. He proposed there a year later. We've traveled in the states to visit my dad in South Carolina and been to CA for my step sisters wedding. We used to do a lot of long weekends in places like Boston or Connecticut. We have a few more trips we'd like to take.

We are considering Italy, Spain and some other European places for our honeymoon. It wont be right after the wedding so we think we may just do Florida for a mini-moon and spend a few days on the beach and go to Disney.

FH and I will continuously vacation in North Carolina together because his parents own a house there and its a beautiful relaxing and affordable vacation! We have also done New Hampshire and are looking forward to our first very BIG vacation which will be our honeymoon!

For the honeymoon we are looking into Caribbean Islands... maybe St. Marteen, Anguilla, St. Thomas, Aruba... not 100% sure as of yet, but I am SO looking forward to it. We both work so hard and never take time off, so it will be a wonderful summer of freedom!!!

Fh and I have been on a lot of little trio s together to lake george, wildwood, baltimore, a few places in pennsylvania (hershey, great wolf lodge, bikefest) two years ago we did a cruise out of puerto rico to st thomas, st maarten, barbados, st lucia, and st kitts. Three weeks from tomorrow we are going to hawaii for his friends wedding.

Since we are going to hawaii I'm think jamaica for the honeymoon. We haven't decided yet.

We have gone to Italy together twice, and Vegas once. Atlantic City a bunch of times.

For the honeymoon we are leaning towards Europe because FH is not a beach and relax type person (I AM!!!) and he wants to see and do things. We haven't figured out exactly what we want to do yet though.

1. Where are some of the places you and your fiance have vacationed? Nowhere, unless you count a day at the wineries out east. We're broke. LOL


2. Where are you going or thinking about going on your honeymoon? We are going to go to Port St. Lucie for Mets Spring Training. We love our team, and figured it would be a fun, interactive HM. I just can't sit on a beach for a week.

We have been to London, Paris, and the Caribbean together, along with a handful of places in the US.

We're planning on going to the Greek Islands for our honeymoon. SO excited!

1. FH and I went to Miami the year we met and we were just in Cape Coral/Ft Myers visiting my cousins in February.. we are also going to Colombia in August and Las Vegas in November followed by another trip to Cape Coral for my birthday in January

2. We are thinking of flying to PR and going on an 8 day southern Caribbean cruise and then when we get back to PR staying another 4 nights.. we also are thinking about picking 1 island, either St. Lucia or Barbados to melt for 2 straight weeks. I really wanted to go to Thailand but we are planning that for maybe a an anniversary get away. and we also know next summer we really want to go on a drive through the south!

FH and I have vacationed in Philly, Disney World, and California.

For our HM we're going to Miami and Italy.

1. FH and I have vacationed in LA, San Francisco and Kuwait (yes, kuwait, because that's where I'm from and my family still lives there. That's when he asked my dad for my hand in marriage *blush*). We will be going to Seattle in September.

2. We plan to do a mini-moon after marriage, we might do a road trip upstate (Lake George, Adirondacks, Catskills, Fingerlakes region maybe). For our actual honeymoon, we were thinking maybe St. Lucia or Aruba, or if we have money Thailand and Malaysia.

1. FH and I have done vacations to Ocala/Disney World (that was all one vacation), Boston, and Washington, D.C. We've also done an overnight in Shelter Island.

2. For the honeymoon, we are strongly leaning toward a few days in Orlando and then a week in Antigua.

-Naples, Italy

I'm SO excited because we love to travel and that crosses Italy, France, & Spain off my bucket list!

We have vacationed to: Cozumel, Tulum, Cayman islands, Playa del Carmen, Ocho rios, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, St. Marteen, Barbados, Ohio, Niagara Falls, Indianapolis, Miami..that's what I can remember.

We are thinking of either taking a Mediterranean cruise in Europe or going to a few islands in Greece ::sigh::

We have vacationed to Las Vegas, Disney World, Texas and South Carolina together. We also went on a cruise to Bermuda!

For our Honeymoon I think we will be going to Antigua!
