Yes we'd get eachother's names. I just feel like whenever I have enough $$ for a tattoo, there is something else to put it towards.

FH and I dont have matching tattoos, but I am 100% Irish and he is Italian so I got Amore on my wrist. I dont put names on my body only my daughters name so I thought that was appropriate to have. He is going to get something tattood on him for me when he figures out what he wants

I'd get something symbolic for him, but not his name. I'm just not into name tattoos for myself.

The only thing FMIL has asked of FH is that he does not get a tatoo ever. She really doens't like them. It has been a blessing in diguise b/c he would have 100s all over his body b/c he thinks they are so cool but would never do that to his mom.

I wouldn't get FH's name tatoo'd on me. But I'd do what eva longoria did and have our wedding date in roman numerals on the inside of my wrist.

Although I'd probably get kicked out of the family.

FH and I have talked about getting ring tattoos...he getting my name in hebrew and my getting his name in hebrew on our ring fingers...

...I guess we'll see what happens, since I'm really scared of needles and pain lol

That is awesome!!! I have three tattoos already, FH doesn't have/want any... but I would definitely get matching tattoos!!! I was thinking of having his name added to one of the ones I already have... he thinks I'm nuts!!!

Fh isn't into tattoos; on himself or on me (i don't have any). I don't mind it but he doesn't like it. To each their own. However, I love the idea of tattooing the wedding bands on the ring finger. I have seen that and its soooooooooooooooo cute!

I have a bunch, FH is covered... We just got one together, not names but in Italian it says Forever i will love you, mine is on my ribs and his is on his neck (under the collar) lol

i would never get his name nor would i ever let him get my name but we do have matching tattoos. we got them last september on our wrists.
it says 'love is the air i breathe' written in italian. its a line that has meaning to us

i only have a pic of mine right now, i have one showing both of ours together but its on my home computer. anyway his is in the same spot

Nope because I am not really into tattoos. I have what can you call it buyers remorse I would hate it the next day. But I would NEVER tattoo anyones name on myself bad luck no good.

I would never get his name tattooed on me, nor would he have mine on him. He is against tattoos, hates the one I already have. Sooo there's no way we'd ever have matching ones anyway. I go thru phases where I hate mine and then the rest of the time I love it. Ah well!

I got the birds over 2 years ago for FH- they always signified to me the happiness and freedom I felt after we finally got together and I started really living my life after having a horrible relationship before him.

FH on the other hand hates tattoos and will never get one. lol.

I'm going to be the black sheep here b/c I love tat's and I have FH's first initial in a hidden area.

I don't find it superstitious at all. I actually got it in college and we've last, 6 years later....the tat myth is a myth in itself ladies

about three weeks after fh and i got together i got 'eternita' tattooed on my hip where only he could see it...its italian for eternity...he plans on getting it somewhere also...jackie i love yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
