Good morning ladies!!

Do you plan on keeping your last name or will you be taking your FH's last name or will you be hyphenating?

I've been thinking a lot about this and the ONLY reason I wouldn't is professionally... However, his name is just so much easier than mine! LOL

What are your thoughts?

I cannot wait to change my name...I still use my ex husbands last name and boy I am so over it lol.My maiden name and FH last name rhymes so no using both but I most likely wouldn't have anyhow.

I am changing my name. At my job IT can easily link my maiden name email address to my married name email

I'm hyphenating for a few reasons, I don't have a middle name, I'm the only girl in my family. And oddly enough, I am Hispanic with an Italian last name, he's Italian/Ukrainian with a Ukrainian name, how random is that? Lol so I just figured it would be cool to hyphenate.

I'm going to take his name legally but will probably hyphenate professionally so that the work I have done before I marry is still associated with me and easy to find.

I'm taking his name, but considering changing my middle name to my maiden name for a few reasons....one my last is hard to part with. Its very uncommon so if people know how to say it they know someone you are related to....it's fun to see how many people know your family. Fh last name is so common that's no fun lmao!! I checked the email in my building ready...there is 20 people with the same last name in my building alone! :(
Also fh little sister and I will have the exact same initials! My grandmother and I had that problem too and we had different middle initials!! She was ROC & right now I'm RMC, me and fsil will both be RMG if I don't change it!! Fh didn't want me to hyphenated my name either! I was very surprised he is being very old fashioned about this.

I'll be taking his last name but I'm sad to be parting with mine. There are no boys in my family on my dad's side carrying on the name even in Ireland so it'll die with us since we only breed girls apparently lol. My last name is very clearly Irish while FH's last name is very clearly Italian. Filled with vowels. It'll be hard to pair baby names with lol
